On the second day of Nurses Week, the Royal Academy Students Association (RASA) organized a special Nursing Conference at the RAHIHS campus.
The event brought together students from the University of Buea Nursing Students' Association (UBNUSA), Government Bilingual High School Muea, Summerset Bilingual College Buea, and Salvation Comprehensive Bilingual High School Buea.
The conference celebrated the vital role of nurses in healthcare and acknowledged Florence Nightingale's significant impact on the profession. Nightingale's emphasis on hygiene, compassion and evidence based practices laid the foundation for modern nursing. As students engaged in discussions about the future of nursing, they recognized her lasting influence and committed to upholding her legacy of compassion and excellence in thier future careers.
