Fotabe University of Cameroon- FUNIC Cameroon ANNOUNCES SCHOLARSHIP PARTNERSHIP WITH
GOODWILL FINANCIAL HOUSE

FUNIC Cameroon is pleased to announce the signing of a strategic partnership agreement with Goodwill Financial House aimed at expanding access to advanced business education and supporting the development of future business leaders across Africa.

As part of this strategic partnership, Goodwill Financial House will award 10 partial scholarships annually to selected students enrolling in the Master of Business Administration and Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) programmes at FUNIC Business School. Each scholarship will cover 25% of tuition fees.

In addition, Cameroonian students admitted into eligible programmes at Funic Business School may also apply for and benefit from specially structured study loans at Goodwill Financial House

This initiative reflects Goodwill Financial House’ ongoing commitment to investing in education, leadership development, and human capital transformation. The scholarship programme is intended to support individuals who embody the institution’s three core values: innovation, excellence, and commitment.

The scholarship programme is now open for applications for both the June and October academic sessions.

THIS IS WHAT WE DO DIFFERENTLY

At Fotabe University of Cameroon- FUNIC Cameroon, we mix fun with learning, but there is always a deeper meaning behind every activity. Every exercise is intentional, and there is always something to take home from it.

During our last bootcamp, final year Degree students took part in a simple team exercise. In this exercise, students were blindfolded and had to move through obstacles with only one guide - their teammates speaking from the other side. They could not see anything. They had to listen, trust, and follow instructions carefully. And the team guiding them had to stay calm, communicate clearly, and think ahead.

At first, it looked like a normal game. But there were real lessons behind it - trust, communication, patience, and learning how to work with others even when things are not clear. It is very important that they learn these basic skills early, so they don’t struggle with them later in life, in school, work, or business. And This is how teaches her students to grow - step by step, through real experience.

What does the entrepreneurship curriculum actually look like? At Fotabe University of Cameroon- FUNIC Cameroon, students don’t just learn theory , Whether in the Engineering or Business and Entrepreneurship programs - they are trained to think like entrepreneurs from day one. It starts with identifying real problems in society and asking: what can be done to solve this in a practical and useful way?

As they develop their ideas, students begin to ask the real business questions that matter: What exactly are we selling? Who needs this solution? Is there really a market for it? These questions guide every discussion as students work in groups, share ideas, and shape them into something more structured and realistic.

At this stage, students are often seen working in group discussions and preparing presentations where they analyze their ideas, refine their thinking, and explain their business concepts clearly. They learn how to improve their ideas based on feedback and gradually turn simple thoughts into structured business plans. By the end of this process, they are not just learning entrepreneurship - they are practicing how entrepreneurs actually think, question, and build.
