St Augustine International Higher Institute (SAIHI)Wraps Up Pre–20th May Activities with Community Service and Sporting Victory
St Augustine International Higher Institute (SAIHI), Yaounde, successfully concluded activities ahead of Cameroon’s 20th May National Day celebrations with a series of mind-relaxing, socially responsible, and unifying initiatives.
The institution organized two days of community service dedicated to cleaning the campus and its surrounding environment, demonstrating its commitment to civic responsibility and environmental cleanliness. The activities were followed by an exciting football match against another professional university, SEVIC-HITM.
The football encounter was highly competitive, but SAIHI once again demonstrated strength, resilience, and determination by securing a hard-fought 1–0 victory. The decisive goal was scored during the second half of the match, sealing yet another memorable triumph for the institution.
The victory sparked moments of joy, unity, and celebration within the SAIHI family. The President of the Board of Trustees, Mr. Khan Peter Pekwah received the news with great satisfaction and reaffirmed his commitment to promoting the institution’s continuous growth and excellence both academically and socially.
Speaking after the victory, he recalled the institution’s outstanding participation during the February 2026 Youth Week activities in Yaounde, where SAIHI had the privilege of being invited by the Governor of the Centre Region to participate in the celebrations. During the event, the institution distinguished itself by defeating the University of Yaounde I in a quiz competition.
