Costa Rica’s innovation ecosystem is entering a stage where entrepreneurship increasingly intersects with technology, investment, artificial intelligence, and business transformation as drivers of national competitiveness. 🌎📈
Amid this shift, ULACIT appointed Allan Matarrita-Chinchilla as Director of Entrepreneurship at its new Innovation & Technology Center (CIT), a role focused on strengthening connections between emerging talent, innovation ecosystems, and the development of high-impact entrepreneurial initiatives.
Matarrita’s trajectory combines leadership in technology-driven ventures, innovation management, digital products, investment governance, and entrepreneurship education. His experience spans sectors such as neurotech, sportstech, audiovisual innovation, strategic communication, and business development, while also serving on the Board of Directors and Investment Committee of Popular SAFI.
With international training in innovation, entrepreneurship, corporate governance, and investment management—including academic and professional experiences linked to Israel, MICITT, and regional technology forums—his incorporation adds an applied and multidisciplinary perspective to ULACIT’s vision of entrepreneurship as a platform for innovation, economic growth, and transformation in Costa Rica.💡
