EMU Faculty of Business and Economics

The Faculty of Business and Economics is the leading academic center in social sciences in North Cyprus. We take pride in the high academic standards we uphold while sustaining a student-friendly environment. Our graduates mostly pursue careers in reputable firms, whilst some proceed to further academic studies. Faculty members are well qualified with doctoral degrees from reputable universities.

They remain current in their teaching fields through research and publications in top scholarly journals. Our faculty members are regularly consulted in the media and by public and private organizations as authorities in their fields. We also run several collaborative projects with the Chambers of Commerce and Industry and other stakeholders. In addition to our membership in AACSB International, our Faculty is also a member of the European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD), and of the European Consortium for Political Research (ECPR). We have been named as one of the best 1000 business schools in the world by Eduniversal, an educational consulting firm based in France. The Webometrics Ranking produced by the Cybermetrics Lab, a unit of the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC), the main public research body in Spain has announced that our faculty ranks 3rd among Turkish business schools, 14th among schools in the Middle East, 155th among schools in Asia and 329th among schools in Europe.
