Mediterranean Maritime Academy offers the programs of "OFFICER IN CHARGE OF A NAVIGATIONAL WATCH" and "OFFICER IN CHARGE OF AN ENGINEERING WATCH", that leads to a Certificate of Competency in 3 years, issued by the Deputy Ministry of Shipping of Cyprus. The Merchant Marine Academy for Greeks and Cypriots that was founded in 2016 in Limassol, Cyprus, located in Larnaca and Limassol. MMA offers the
training programs “OFFICER IN CHARGE OF A NAVIGATIONAL WATCH” and ”OFFICER IN CHARGE OF AN ENGINEERING WATCH” accredited by the Deputy Ministry of Shipping of Cyprus, that lead to a Certificate of Competency in three years (two years of studies plus one year of sea service), according to the IMO standards. The Academy is a fully equipped training facility with TRANSAS Simulators for Bridge, Engine, ECDIS, Liquid Cargo Handling, and GMDSS. As a Training Centre we provide all STCW courses for our students and seafarers in Cyprus such as BRM, ERM, ECDIS, Safety courses, Medical, Security, Tanker course and much more. The Centre is Accredited by Cyprus Maritime Authority and Certified by Lloyds Register Quality Assurance for ISO 9001:2015.
