End of Academic Year Address 🎓

Dear students,

As this academic year comes to an end, I address you today with great emotion and pride. This year has been marked by constant effort, by challenges to overcome, but also by precious human experiences that will remain engraved in our memories. Behind every success lie sacrifice, perseverance, and the will never to give up.

The examinations represent an important stage in your journey. They are not only an assessment of your knowledge, but also a reflection of your discipline, your commitment, and your ability to move forward despite difficulties.

I want to remind you today that your worth is not limited to a grade or a result. Your true strength lies in your character, your ethics, and your ability to dream and to build a better future. Our College is proud of each one of you. You are its image, its energy, and its future.

That is why I would like to entrust you with a noble and important mission: to be the ambassadors of your College.

Be, everywhere, examples of respect, seriousness, competence, patriotism, and humanity. May your conduct, your words, and your achievements bear witness to the quality of the education and the principles our institution seeks to pass on. An ambassador does not represent only their institution, they inspire others through their attitude, their excellence, and their capacity to do good around them.

To those who complete their studies this year, I say: move forward with confidence, the world awaits you with its challenges and its opportunities. Always keep within you the passion to learn, the humility to grow, and the courage to succeed.

To all our students, I wish examinations full of serenity, focus, and success. Believe in yourselves, for sincere efforts are always rewarded in the end.

I thank our teachers and administrative staff for their dedication, their patience, and their commitment to the education of future generations.

I wish you all an excellent end to the academic year, success in your examinations, and a bright future of which our College will always be proud.

🤝Το Alexander College προχώρησε στην υπογραφή Μνημονίου Συνεργασίας με τον Δήμο Παραλιμνίου - Δερύνειας, επιβεβαιώνοντας τη δέσμευσή του για ενίσχυση της εκπαίδευσης, της κατάρτισης και της κοινωνικής προσφοράς.

Το Μνημόνιο υπέγραψαν ο Πρόεδρος του Alexander College, Dr Metanios Halabi, και ο Δήμαρχος Παραλιμνίου - Δερύνειας κ. Γιώργος Νικολέττος. Μέσα από τη συνεργασία αυτή, τα δύο μέρη θα αναπτύξουν κοινές πρωτοβουλίες σε θέματα εκπαίδευσης, επαγγελματικής κατάρτισης, ανταλλαγής τεχνογνωσίας και διοργάνωσης δράσεων με εκπαιδευτικό και κοινωνικό αντίκτυπο.

Σημαντική πρόνοια της συμφωνίας αποτελεί η παραχώρηση υποτροφιών προς δημότες του Δήμου Παραλιμνίου - Δερύνειας, συμβάλλοντας στην ενίσχυση της πρόσβασης στην ανώτερη εκπαίδευση και στη δημιουργία νέων ευκαιριών για τη νέα γενιά.

Ο Πρόεδρος του Alexander College, Dr Metanios Halabi, εξέφρασε την ιδιαίτερη ικανοποίησή του για τη σύναψη της συνεργασίας, υπογραμμίζοντας τη σημασία της σύνδεσης της εκπαίδευσης με τις ανάγκες των τοπικών κοινωνιών. Παράλληλα, οι δύο πλευρές επαναβεβαίωσαν την πρόθεσή τους να διευρύνουν τη συνεργασία τους σε ένα ευρύ φάσμα δράσεων προς όφελος των πολιτών και της ευρύτερης κοινωνίας.

Message from the President

When one looks at Cyprus, one sees an island. When one understands Cyprus, one sees a crossroads, the point where European ambition, the energy of the Middle East, the youth of Africa, and the ancient soul of the Mediterranean meet. Σήμερα είχαμε την υπέροχη ευκαιρία να βρεθούμε στην εκπομπή «Πρωτοσέλιδο» του Sigma TV και να παρουσιάσουμε τo επερχόμενo μας Final Show, «The Golden Synthesis», που θα πραγματοποιηθεί στις 5 Ιουνίου στο Πάρκο Σαλίνα, στη Λάρνακα.

Εκ μέρους του Τμήματος Design του Alexander College παρευρέθηκαν ο Path Leader του Τμήματος Μόδας, Kristo Avraam, και ο Assistant Professor & Graphic Designer, Panayiotis Voulgaris.

Our LLM Lecturer, Dr. Athina Sophocleous, participated in the 3rd International Scientific Conference organised by our partner university, the University of Technology and Economics, titled “The Multidimensionality of Cybersecurity: New Dimensions of Digital Crime – Law, Technology, Society.”

Dr. Sophocleous contributed to the panel discussion “Beyond Technology,” sharing insights on AI-driven education and digital resilience.
