Ctl Eurocollege Welcome to the CTL Eurocollege and the gateway to your future. The college is located in the cosmopolitan city of Cyprus, Limassol.

The CTL Eurocollege is the continuation of the CTL Academy that was founded in 1966 in Famagusta, Cyprus, and offered middle, senior, and higher education. Dr Maria Hadjielia Drotarova organised an educational field trip for the students of Room Division Management, Operational Management, and E-Business at CTL Eurocollege.

The visit was joined by Dr George Antoniades, Dr Kosmas Pipyros, and Dr Vasilis Papavasiliou. Students had the opportunity to gain valuable industry insights, explore hotel operations, and meet with the HR Manager of St Raphael Resort.

As part of the visit, students were also able to submit their CVs for internship and job opportunities coordinated by Dr Vasilis Papavasiliou, strengthening the connection between academic studies and industry experience.

We are proud to announce that our College has received Institutional Accreditation from the Cyprus Agency of Quality Assurance and Accreditation in Higher Education (CYQAA), the official body responsible for quality assurance in Higher Education in Cyprus.

This important achievement marks a major milestone for our Institution and reflects our strong commitment to academic excellence, innovation, continuous improvement, and high international educational standards.

The accreditation confirms our vision of creating a dynamic learning environment that supports student growth and prepares future professionals and leaders for success in a global world.

Larnaka Tourism Board participated in the 1st Transnational Project Meeting (TPM) of SafeHost in Cyprus on May 18-19.

Codeca - Center for Social Cohesion, Development and Care, coordinated the kickoff meeting for the SafeHost project: 'Enhancing Early GBV Detection in the Hospitality Sector', funded by the European Union’s CERV Programme.

Partners from Cyprus, Greece, Italy, Spain, and Denmark came together for two productive days, discussing all Work Packages and setting clear guidelines for upcoming tasks and deliverables.

SafeHost promotes human dignity, equality, and the safety of the most vulnerable by:
1️⃣ Mapping practices and barriers across hospitality and NGO sectors
2️⃣ Co-developing a modular training programme for frontline hospitality staff
3️⃣ Formalising partnerships and referral protocols with over 60 hotels
4️⃣ Launching a multilingual mobile app with an AI chatbot and referral dashboard
5️⃣ Implementing a multilingual awareness campaign targeting guests and the public

👉 One of our Bachelor’s degree students recently participated in the Blended Intensive Programme “Employer as a Brand: The Art of Attracting Talent”, organized by our partner University, the Institute of Technology and Business in České Budějovice (Czech Republic), within the framework of Erasmus+.

The face-to-face component of the programme took place from 20 to 24 April in České Budějovice.

👉 Our Assistant Professor Dr Amvrosios Prodromou participated in the International Scientific Conference “Society of the Future – Interdisciplinary Development Scenarios” organized by the Akademia Handlowa Nauk Stosowanych W Radomiu in April 2026.

During the conference, Dr Prodromou presented among a total of 94 high quality scientific works the collaborative research work with Dr. Marilia Kountouridou and Dr. Ifigenia Efthymiou, titled “Sustainability through the Involvement of e-HRM in Project Management – The Cyprus Hotel Industry Case.” The presentation sparked engaging discussion, included a Q&A session, and received highly positive feedback from the participants

👉 Dr. Maria Hadjielia Drotarova, Associate Professor and Head of Research at CTL Eurocollege, completed an Erasmus+ staff training mobility from 7–11 April 2026 at the Department of Tourism and Hotel Management, Prešov University. Together with doc. Ing. Anna Šenková, PhD., a Head of the Department of Tourism and Hotel Management and doc. PhDr. Daniela Matušíková, PhD., she focused on advancing the KEGA project, which promotes the internationalization of specialized courses in tourism, gastronomy, and spa studies.

Key outcomes of their work include: - Preparation of a case studies publication with active student involvement; and - Planning a hybrid workshop for the upcoming semester. These initiatives aim to bridge theory and practice while fostering meaningful international partnerships in higher education
