International Week at MENDELU Brings Together Participants from All Over the World🌍

MENDELU’s International Week, held from April 20-24, 2026, was an unforgettable event, bringing together over 40 participants from across the globe. This exciting week of learning and collaboration coincided with the inauguration of the new rector of the university, making it an even more special occasion for our international guests.

The event was a unique opportunity to strengthen existing partnerships and explore new ones, with participants engaging in a variety of sessions, workshops, and presentations. The weather couldn’t have been better, contributing to a vibrant atmosphere throughout the week. But it was the warmth and enthusiasm of the participants that truly stood out.💚

We would like to extend a special thank you to everyone who helped make International Week a success. Many people were involved in its organization and smooth running, and we are grateful for their dedication and hard work. A heartfelt thanks goes to the key organizers, Tereza Šmídová from the International Relations Office and Kateřina Prášková from the Faculty of Business and Economics, whose efforts ensured the event went off without a hitch.🫶🏻

Throughout the week, participants had the chance to explore important global challenges and share insights into local solutions. The diverse backgrounds of the attendees sparked interesting discussions and allowed for a deeper understanding of different perspectives.

It was truly a pleasure to welcome such amazing individuals to our university. We are already looking forward to future opportunities to reconnect and collaborate. Safe travels to all our participants as they return to their respective countries!🛩️🏃‍♀️
