Introducing the chairs of SPECPOL: Thomas Hill and Aoife McCormick! ⛓️‍💥

‘Hello everyone! I’m Aoife, and my good friend Tom and I will be chairing SPECPOL this year. I’ve been participating in MUN for years, but have never been given the opportunity to chair. Both me and my cochair are first timers, but that won’t stop SPECPOL from being the best committee this year (please sign up). I hope you all will love PLISMUN this year, and I can’t wait to see all of you there.’

Introducing our chairs of WHO: Jan Pohl and Jakub Kratochvíl! 😷

‘Hi guys, I am Jan Pohl, I am 16 years old and I attend the Nový PORG gymnasium. Currently, I am actively participating in MUN at my school for over 3 years. This is mainly due to my passion for geopolitics, learning about and from important world events, and the exploration of various viewpoints.
Outside of MUN, and obviously school, I spend my time with my friends or I engage in my two greatest passions – playing electric guitar and sports. My favourite sports are sprint kayak, cycling, swimming, and in the winter months I prefer skiing, cross-country skiing, or ice skating.
PLISMUN ‘26 will be my 3rd time chairing and I am looking forward to it with excitement. Anyway, see you soon and brace yourself for the heated debate to come.’

‘Hello! My name is Jakub Kratochvíl. I am 16 years old and currently attend Nový PORG Gymnasium. My involvement in Model United Nations has spanned over five years, developing a profound passion for global politics and international relations.

Outside of academics, I enjoy a balanced mix of activities. I like playing games with friends and challenging myself with coding various programs. I am also an enthusiastic sportsman, regularly participating in badminton, swimming, skiing, and cycling.

I am extremely enthusiastic about the committee and co-chair I’ve been assigned to for PLISMUN 2026. I look forward to contributing to a productive and engaging debate!
