What can postcolonial architecture show us about inequality in African cities? And what role did Czechoslovak experts play in Ghana’s development in the 1960s? In this interview, Anna Řičář Libánská (CAFR FF UK) is introducing, Irene Addo, an architect and researcher at the University of Ghana . She discusses her work on African urbanism, shares insights from her current projects on climate adaptation and architectural education, and reflects on the architectural and technical cooperation between Czechoslovakia and Ghana during the Nkrumah era.
