BACHELOR OF MUSIC

Our aim
We offer talented young musicians the opportunity to pursue their studies in classical music on an individualized basis and in close connection with their teachers. Our aim is to provide intense, focused, and internationally competitive teaching in a friendly and personal atmosphere. Our members of faculty are renowned artists with extensive stage experience, which they are happy to share with their students.

Study program: Bachelor of Music
Our Bachelor of Music degree is offered in cooperation with the KALAIDOS University (Switzerland). All required exams and concerts for this study program will be held at our premises in Germany.
The students’ experience can be broadened by our wide range of master classes, international competitions and regular concerts in different chamber music halls in Dusseldorf and Berlin.

Our locations
Our headquarters are located in in the lively old town of Düsseldorf, the capital of North Rhine-Westphalia. The building dates back to the baroque period and is classified as a historical monument. The Academy is within walking distance of many well-known musical institutions, such as the opera (Deutsche Oper am Rhein), and concert halls (Tonhalle, Palais Wittgenstein, Robert Schumann Saal), as well as many museums, libraries, and other cultural venues.
Since 2016, the International Music Academy Anton Rubinstein has a department in Berlin, capital city of Germany and one of the liveliest musical communities in the world. Situated in the middle of Charlottenburg – 50 meters from the famous Kurfürstendamm – are three beautiful high-ceiling rooms where the lessons take place.

Study programs: Master of Music
Our Master of Music degrees are offered in cooperation with three European universities: KALAIDOS University (Switzerland), Fontys School of Fine and Performing Arts Tilburg (Netherlands), und Conservatorio “Giacomo Puccini” La Spezia (Italy, only piano and string instruments).

Study program: IMAR ACADEMY STUDY CERTIFICATE
This study course will be tailor-made for young musicians who are already studying (or have finished) a University/Conservatory course and who would like to complement these studies with intensive practical performance tuition by highly experienced teachers. Private lessons, chamber music, and concert experience will give the students the foundation needed to build a professional performing career.

PIANO PRE COLLEGE
für Kinder und Jugendliche

Unser Ziel
Unsere motivierten Klavier-Dozentinnen mit immenser pädagogischer Erfahrung und großer Liebe zum Unterrichten freuen sich auf Kinder und Jugendliche, für die das Klavierspielen einfach zum Leben gehört – und die vielleicht auch die Idee haben, die Musik später einmal zu ihrem Beruf zu machen.

Wir bieten einen intensiven und fröhlichen Unterricht am Instrument – aber auch Orientierung, Rat und Hilfestellung bei den ersten Schritten auf dem Konzertpodium, bei Jugendwettbewerben und auf dem möglichen Weg in ein Studium.

Leitung und Team
Die Leitung des Pre College hat Irina Leveleva: Umfassend ausgebildet als Konzertpianistin, Kammermusikerin und Klavierpädagogin am renommierten St. Petersburger Konservatorium, haben ihre Schülerinnen und Schüler seitdem zahlreiche Preise bei bundesweiten und internationalen Wettbewerben errungen und sind in Folge auf renommierten Bühnen wie der Carnegie Hall, der Kölner Philharmonie oder der Hamburger Laeiszhalle aufgetreten.

Für das Team des Pre College konnten außerdem die Pianistinnen Ievgeniia Iermachkova und Veronika Salikhova gewonnen werden, die bereits seit 2018 als Dozentinnen an der Internationalen Musikakademie Anton Rubinstein tätig sind.

VLADIMIR TROPP- Meisterkurs für Klavier
7. - 9. November 2019, Berlin. Vladimir Tropp, einer der Granden der russischen Pianistenschule, erstmals zu Gast an der Internationalen Musikakademie Anton Rubinstein. Die berühmte Gnessin Musikakademie in Moskau ist seit seinem Studienabschluss 1963 seine musikalische Heimat, die er als Klavierprofessor bis heute entscheidend prägen konnte. Sein besonderes Interesse gilt dem Schaffen Rachmaninows.
