Thanks to everyone who made Whitecliffe x possible, what a week! 🙌
3 exhibitions took place on our campus, brought to life by some incredibly talented students and professionals!
”Whitecliffe in Perspective“ greeted visitors right on our façade at Salzufer 6. The installation only became legible from one specific viewpoint, and explored how anamorphic systems could act as tools for critical reflection within contemporary design culture.
”2051 – It all turned out well“ brought together students from B.A. Graphic Design and Visual Communication, Interior Architecture / Interior Design, and Architecture to imagine Berlin 25 years from now as speculative futures. From Warschauer Brücke to the Landwehrkanal, 5 Berlin sites became spaces for hope as a creative act of rebellion.
And finally, with ”Let the play begin“, our 3rd semester students collaborated with the brand Play-Toys to research about toys as a medium of visual communication. Their tangible prototypes explored themes of emotional regulation and nature awareness for children, as well as climate change and women‘s rights.
Thanks for your visit, see you next year! 👋
