FNF Survey: Share Your Experience as an Indian Student in Germany
Dear Indian students,
We are reaching out to share an ongoing research initiative that may be of relevance to many of you.
The Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom (FNF), a German foundation working on democracy, liberal values, education and dialogue, invites Indian students in Germany to take part in a short survey on their experiences, challenges and future plans in Germany.
The survey aims to understand both the positive and negative aspects of studying and living as an Indian student in Germany. The findings will be used to develop policy recommendations aimed at improving the process and contributing to the success and well-being of current and future Indian students in Germany.
The survey is anonymous and takes approximately 15 minutes to complete. It covers:
• What drew you to study in Germany
• Your experience navigating visa, registration, and bureaucratic processes
• Academic life, living conditions, and financial realities
• Social integration and sense of belonging
• Career prospects and post-study plans
