European Studies Master Programme of the University of Flensburg Thus far we have had students from over 45 different countries!

Our Master programme provides a comprehensive and in-depth insight into relevant European themes within the disciplines of social sciences and the humanities, such as economic and politological theories, European law, European ideas, and European contemporary history. The programme lasts two years and is offered in co-operation with University of Southern Denmark. As an international programme, yo

u will be studying with other young people from all over the world. All courses are taught in English here on our Flensburg campus. In addition to our multi-disciplinary offerings and international flare, the University of Flensburg is a tuition free university!

Okay, I admit: Flensburg is not known for being the sunniest city, but this summer really spoiled us!🌞 I can tell you: many afternoons were spent at the beach ⛱️

With modules from politics, law, economy and sociology, this program is super diverse and provides you with many different perspectives. It’s fully taught in English and even offers a double degree option with two universities abroad!

Last week we hosted our midsummer conference on the topic ‘Fostering Academic Inclusivity in Controversial Times’, and a little EUS-birthday-celebration!
It was great to see you all there, to discuss with you, and to chat over some snacks and drinks🥂

Special thanks to Dr. Michaela Schrage-Früh for coming all the way from University of Limerick and taking part in the panel discussion on Inclusivity in European Studies! And, of course, to Prof. Dr. Matthias Goldmann for his keynote lecture on ‘Talking about Genocide’!
