European Studies Master Programme of the University of Flensburg Thus far we have had students from over 45 different countries!

Our Master programme provides a comprehensive and in-depth insight into relevant European themes within the disciplines of social sciences and the humanities, such as economic and politological theories, European law, European ideas, and European contemporary history. The programme lasts two years and is offered in co-operation with University of Southern Denmark. As an international programme, yo

u will be studying with other young people from all over the world. All courses are taught in English here on our Flensburg campus. In addition to our multi-disciplinary offerings and international flare, the University of Flensburg is a tuition free university!

During your stay in Flensburg you should definitely consider going to Copenhagen as it is even closer then Berlin 🎥✨

This was a weekend full of historic ships, sea breeze and marinetime traditions 🌊 Join me at the Rum-Regatta in Flensburg - one of Germany’s most unique sailing festivals! From beautiful wooden boats to the lively harbour atmosphere, this event is an important part of Flensburg’s cultural identity 🚤✨

Our annual Midsummer Lecture will look a little different this year, since it will be part of the INES project 🌞 Never heard of INES? No worries, have a look at the third slide 👀

We’re starting things off at 16:00 with a panel discussion exploring different perspectives on “Teaching European Studies Inclusively.”

Afterwards, Prof. Dr. Matthias Goldmann will give the keynote lecture: “Talking about Genocide – Inclusion and Exclusion.”

The Midsummer Conference is open to everyone interested — just make sure to register online (link in bio).

And the evening doesn’t end there – at 20:00, we’ll celebrate 20 years of EUS with free food, drinks, and good company 🥂✨
