𝐓𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐤𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠, הטכניון - מכון טכנולוגי לישראל | Technion - Israel Institute of Technology 🇮🇱

We were excited to welcome a delegation of Technion Campus Leaders at our Institute in Garching this summer! The Technion Campus Leaders (TCL) program is a strategic initiative of Technion President Professor Uri Sivan. TLC follows the footsteps of a nation-wide program called Leaders in Academia whose mission it is to “establish and nurture a strong network of senior members of Universities, Colleges and research centers, capable of coping with the transformations that will ensure continuing academic excellence, innovation and social impact.” (leadershipinacademia.com).

We at ERI fully support the ambition of creating a network within and beyond academia to drive processes worldwide. 🤝

Thank you for visiting and sharing your experiences and perspectives with us! It was a truly inspiring afternoon. Special thanks also goes to our very own Siddharth Vedula for providing our guests with the full ERI experience.

🎓 Starting the year by achieving milestones 💪🏽

🥳 A big congratulations to Dr. Judit Klein for successfully defending her doctoral dissertation, earlier last week at our institute, on the role of family foundations for in firms.

📚 Judit's dissertation endeavored to construct a more holistic picture of business-owning families’ community social engagement within and beyond their family firms. By relying on a multi-theoretical framework her empirical study focused on highlighting the significant role that family foundations play not only in the lives of these families but also in shaping the variance in their firms’ social engagement outcomes.

👩🏻‍🎓 Judit worked together with prof. Hana Milanov, and was joined by prof. Holger Patzelt and prof. Melanie Richards as the examination committee.

🥂 Judit, All of us at the ERI are happy for you and wish you the best of luck going forward!
