🚨 Join us for an inspiring workshop on Women in the Digital Economy on June 26th at the JTC Legal Tech Lab!
Our visiting professor Dr. Martha B. Hailu will host a workshop on the topical issue of Women in the Digital Economy. Preexisting inequalities—such as limited resources, education, and technical skills—severely restrict women entrepreneurs from navigating complex trading regulations and standards. This divide is mirrored in digital trade, particularly in the developing world, where women face steep barriers including low connectivity, limited access to resources, and minimal digital literacy. To bridge this gap and unlock the opportunities of modern digitalization, targeted legal and policy interventions are required to empower women traders.
