Heute ist der „World Cleanup Day“, der für das Problem der Vermüllung unserer Erde sensibilisieren möchte. Konkrete Aufräumaktionen finden u.a. auf dem Königstuhl (von der Stadt Heidelberg) sowie im Neuenheimer Feld (von der Fachschaft Geowissenschaften) statt. Wenn auch ihr etwas tun möchtet, haben wir aber noch einen anderen Tipp für euch: nämlich euren digitalen Müll rauszubringen.
Das Thema “Digital Pollution” ist etwas, was viele gar nicht auf dem Schirm haben. Ein Kommilitone hingegen schon, der deshalb auch gleich eine Präsentation gebastelt und ein paar Fakten und Tipps für euch zusammengetragen hat. Wenn ihr möchtet, könnt ihr ihm auch direkt schreiben, wie viele Gigabytes an digitalem Müll ihr gelöscht habt – entweder via Google Docs (wobei ihr den entsprechenden Link in der Präsentation findet) oder per E-Mail an [[email protected]]. Today is “World Cleanup Day” which aims to raise awareness of the problem of littering our earth. Clean-up actions take place on the Königstuhl (organized by the city of Heidelberg) and in the Neuenheimer Feld (organized by the Fachschaft Geowissenschaften). If you want to do something, too, we have another option for you: taking out your digital trash.
The subject of “digital pollution” is something that many do not even have on their radar. Unlike one of our fellow students who therefore made a presentation and collected a few facts and tips for you. You can report to him directly how many gigabytes of digital garbage you have deleted – either via Google Docs (you can find the link in the presentation) or by sending an email to [[email protected] -heidelberg.de]. Week 4 -
Finale of the festival had an overwhelming participation of over 40 participants. The directors Mukesh Sharma and Anarya Murshid enthusiastically answered the questions of the participants. The directors spoke about the making of thier respective movies, the roadblocks they faced and their upcoming projects in great detail.

A big shout out to the members and sportswomen of Wheelchair Basketball Federation of India who graced the occasion❤️

The students had an engaging discussion with the director Teenaa Kaur Pasricha, who took the audience through the journey of her filmmaking process highlighting the hurdles and teachings that came her way.

Week 2 of Glimpses of South Asia documentary film festival.

An engaging Q and A session with filmmakers Rohit Dhuliya and Lohit Lodhwal. They also discussed the production process of their films with the participants.
