The official Heidelberg International Program page. Welcome to the original International Program! The Heidelberg program is truly unique and very special.

Students, since 1963, have proudly called the beautiful city of Heidelberg home. The city of Heidelberg is situated along the banks of the Neckar River in southern Germany. Heidelberg is steeped in history as the home of Germany's oldest university, which opened its doors in 1386, and to the world-famous Heidelberg Castle perched as a sentinel overlooking the storybook city center. Students live i

n a house overlooking Heidelberg Altstadt (the old town) in the beautiful, and newly remodeled, Moore Haus. Unlike other programs, where classes are held within the house, the Heidelberg program administers classes on the Hauptstraße (main street). In between classes, it is common for students to walk around the city, shop, grab some Kaffee und Kuchen (coffee and cake), or a scoop of gelato. Ich hab' mein Herz in Heidelberg verloren
