Profile und Ziel der Ausbildung

SOZO visions in motion ist eine vollzeitige professionelle zeitgenössische Bühnentanzausbildung. Sie steht für eine solide zeitgenössische Tanztechnik und versteht es theoretisches, kognitives und praktisches Wissen ganzheitlich zu vernetzen. SOZO visions in motion hat sich die individuelle Förderung von kreativen und ausdrucksstarken Tänzerpersönlichkeiten zum Zi

el gemacht. Das Ausbildungsprogramm empfängt internationale Resonanz und bietet den Studierenden Kooperationspartnerschaften an. ( Staatstheater Kassel , Kunsthochschule Kassel…) Begleitet werden die Studenten durch internationale Dozenten, die Trends einer evolvierenden internationalen Tanzszene repräsentieren. Entreuprenuership und soziale Aspekte des Tanzes werden gesucht. Die Förderung der Individualität durch Mentoren Schaft gewährleistet das eigene Potential und die eigenen Fähigkeiten zu finden und auszubauen. Durch intensive Gruppenprozesse in respektvoller Atmosphäre kann der Studierende selbständig seiner Intuition und Inspiration folgen. In Bewegungsforschung und Recherche wird interdisziplinarisches arbeiten geschult. Die Studierenden lernen früh künstlerische Arbeitsprozesse kreativ mit zu gestalten.

What an exciting day! Our third years were having their final exams today. So wonderful and touching to watch you dance a (almost) last time. Well done!

The school year is coming to an end and we are looking forward to some exciting new formats and events. Sozo’s founder is holding a unique free online workshop tomorrow for dancers wondering if it’s too late, applications are still open for spontaneous decisions, take the plunge! Then we will have a performance evening in collaboration with our dear friends from with three different pieces on one evening. Don’t miss this! Also, our last audition will take place, which you can still apply for and our students will perform this year’s summer productions. Our guest chooreographers this year are .b.s and .lyn.weiss. We can’t wait!

You’re probably wondering:
Is it really worth studying professional dance?
Will I ever actually be able to work in this profession?
And there are plenty of loud voices in society ready to answer that for you.
Be realistic.
Choose something safer.
It’s too difficult.
Too uncertain.
Too late.
But are those voices actually telling the truth?
Or are they simply reflecting fear, convention, and a very narrow understanding of what a life in dance can become?
This workshop is a space to look at that question honestly.
