Liebe Erstis, die Anmeldephase zu den Präsenzveranstaltungen der Owoche ist vorbei und alle Plätze sind bereits vergeben. Trotzdem möchten wir euch alle Studienrelevanten Informationen natürlich nicht vorenthalten und daher finden alle wichtigen Infoveranstaltungen ausschließlich online statt und sind für alle Anglistik Erstis zugänglich! Ohne vorherige Anmeldung! Den Plan für die Online Veranstaltungen seht ihr nun hier. In der Inofveranstaltung am Montag, die ersatzweise auch Mittwoch nochmal stattfindet, stellen wir uns vor, erklären euch die Wahl eures Stundenplans und erzählen über euer erstes Semester am Englischen Seminar! Die Veranstaltung zum Studienverlauf beschäftigt sich mit den darauffolgenden Semestern und dem Aufbau eures Studiums und im Online Infocafé könnt ihr mit unserer Unterstützung euren Stundenplan wählen und uns Fragen stellen!
Wir freuen uns euch alle kennenzulernen und sehen uns dann am nächsten Montag um 10 Uhr im Zoom Raum! ❤️

Material Analysis and Design: Study@home - The TOOLS Project
22nd – 26th November 2021

Please note that we now offer a project week for future teachers of English (Blockseminar) who still need to complete their study@home. It will be taught by teachers of the University of Vic, Spain, the University of Opole, Poland, and the WWU as part of the ERASMUS+ TOOLS project.
As part of this international project, you will be placed in groups with international students from Vic and Opole University to study together."

Erziehungswissenschaft, Prof. Busse) sucht schnellstmöglich eine
Studentische Hilfskraft (SHB) speziell aus dem MEd Englisch für einmalig ca. 10 Stunden zwecks Unterstützung der Forschungstätigkeiten in der Arbeitsgruppe.

Racism and other forms of discrimination regularly and also structurally affect students and staff of the English Department. In order to address this grievance, and with a view to redressing it, a work group is being set up.

(2) Timo Kulartz (he/him), 24 Jahre, ZFB Anglistik/Amerikanistik und Geschichte, Mitglied seit 2015.
I am in the Fachschaft because cheap beer at the Sommerfest and free admission at the parties.
What the Fachschaft says about Timo: Turbo // “A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.” // You won't see him that often, but when you do he always looks fresh af.

(3) Jule Bärmann (she/her), 24 Jahre, Master of Arts Philosophie und Master of Education Englisch und Philosophie/Praktische Philosophie, Mitglied seit 2015.
I am in the Fachschaft because students make up the biggest status group at the English Seminar and their needs should be adressed accordingly - socially as well as academically :)
What the Fachschaft says about Jule: Concerningly easily startled. // She easily builds sentences in no ways inferior to those of Hannah Arendt. An intellectual with the warmest heart and finest taste in memes// The oldest 24 year old in the world. You want to have Jule in your life (alternatively you want your future kids to have Jule as their teacher)! // Also: What a neeerd! // Jule isn't afraid to speak up when its necessary and always finds the right words to make sure everyone feels appreciated and welcome to share their thoughts.

(4) Tillmann Merz (he/him), 22 Jahre, ZFB Anglistik/Amerikanistik und Mathe, Mitglied seit 2019.
I am in the Fachschaft because I had to join after the legendary Erstifahrt. I stayed because of the great vibe and because I can take part in shaping the future of my university.
What the Fachschaft says about Till: in charge of Lehramts-Vernetzung - teachers to be: he is your man! // Always a good listener! // when you work with Till you will get stuff done and also have a good time, he is able to perfectly balance being efficient and fun at the same time.
