Finally, it was time for the opening ceremony! 😍🥳
During the inspiring ceremony, our esteemed faculty advisor Denise Parkinson set the tone for our event by sharing heartfelt words about the past few days and MUN experience.🇺🇳✨

Uğur Aktaş, the Secretary General of the Conference introduced us to our distinguished speakers:

On the second day, our international delegates discovered the famous Heinz Nixdorf MuseumsForum, the largest computer museum in the world 💻😯. After exploring the world of technology, the delegates learned more about the Rules of Procedure for tomorrow's conference. Now that they are experts in the workings of Model United Nations, nothing stands in the way of a fruitful conference✨. We are looking forward to tomorrow when the conference will officially begin🥳!

Today we kicked off our Erasmus BIP-MUN 2024 conference with the beginning of our cultural program! We are incredibly excited to welcome delegates from 6 Erasmus/Colours partner universities to Paderborn - making this conference our very first international conference 😍 This Monday started in Paderborn‘s city center with a GPS-Rallye to make sure that the delegates also get to see a lot of our beautiful city 😁🏙️🌳

Throwback to our last week in Washingon D.C. 📸🎞️

As every year, our study trip to the United States starts out in the capital of the country, Washington D.C., to learn more about the history and culture of the US. Our program included learning about the 3 branches of government, the Declaration of Independence, the first president of the US through visiting places such as the Capitol, the Washington Monument, the World War 2 Memorial, the Library of Congress, Mount Vernon, Arlington Cementry and the White House through expert talks of our students 🏛️
