We had the pleasure of visiting KARL STORZ with our MBA in Medical Devices & Healthcare Management students and alumni, and it was truly an inspiring experience.

A heartfelt thank you to our hosts, Maria Mattes and Boris Martin, for their warm welcome, hospitality, and thoughtful guidance throughout the visit. Their openness and friendliness made the experience especially valuable.

It was also great to see our alumni joining the visit, enriching the exchange between current students, graduates, and industry professionals.

Special thanks to Sven Schwarz, alumnus of our program, who took the time to join us during his break and answered many of our questions - much appreciated!

We would also like to extend a special thank you to our current student Melissa Palza, for her support in organizing this visit.

During the visit, we had the privilege of learning more about the Storz family, their entrepreneurial journey, and how they established a global market leader in medical technology. We gained insights into how innovation is driven at KARL STORZ, their strong commitment to improving lives, and their continuous contributions to the medtech and healthcare sector.

Exploring the recently renewed exhibition area, showcasing a wide range of KARL STORZ solutions, was a particular highlight.

An excellent example of how industry collaboration, innovation, and education come together. Many thanks again to everyone involved. We truly enjoyed the visit! 👏👏👏

Yesterday, our Executive MBA participants had the incredible opportunity to visit B. Braun Group - Aesculap Academy in Tuttlingen – a global leader in medical technology.

From insightful presentations on sustainability, innovation and global healthcare solutions to witnessing state-of-the-art manufacturing and R&D processes, the visit offered a unique behind-the-scenes look into the heart of the medical device industry.

A big thank you to Ramona Barke and the B.Braun - Aesculap team for the warm welcome, inspiring discussions, and a truly enriching experience. This visit not only deepened our understanding of the industry but also reinforced the importance of leadership, quality, and innovation in healthcare.
