We are honored to announce that Infinitas Capital will be a silver partner at IdeaLab! 2022.

Infinitas Capital is a Swiss Single-Family Office. The company operates a Real Estate Investment arm as well as an Alternative Investment arm where it is currently focusing on building strong VC investment strategies. Panel: How can politics influence the development of the German start-up ecosystem

We are excited to announce that Verena Hubertz will take part in one of our panel discussions at this year’s event!

Verena Hubertz is a directly elected Member of the Bundestag for the region Trier & Trier-Saarburg and Deputy Chairwoman of the SPD parliamentary group since 2021. She is the founder and former managing director of Kitchen Stories, a video-based cooking platform with over 20 million users and more than 50 employees.

Born in Trier, she studied business administration at the Trier University of Applied Sciences (Bachelor) and at the WHU - Otto Beisheim School of Management in Vallendar (MSc 2013). At the end of 2020, Verena left Kitchen Stories to run for parliament and represent her home region at the Bundestag as Deputy Chairwoman she is responsible for “Economics, Tourism, Construction, Housing, and Urban Development”.

Panel: Future of Investing

We are more than honored to welcome Jan Karnath at this year’s event in Vallendar at WHU - Otto Beisheim School of Management

Jan is the Co-Founder & CEO of Timeless and drives the vision to offer fractional ownership of rare collectibles to everyone. He is deeply passionate about business models which leverage distributed ledger technology to enable new products and Non Fungible Tokens.

Before Timeless, Jan started his career 2008 at a board office at SAP and joined Fonpit AG in 2011 as an Executive Board member and helped to build Androidpit which became the biggest Android community worldwide by 2015. His passion for DLT started in 2016 spending nights with a close friend reading and analyzing Whitepapers – the ‘to learn list’ seemed endless, but so was the potential – this ultimately made him quit his job to pursue an executive education at Stanford and ultimately founded the start up he is working on.

We are very proud to announce that Soheil Mirpour will join IdeaLab! 2022 as a speaker.

Soheil Mirpour serves as a Member of the Management Board of the international Startup pushing company Rocket Internet, which incubates and invests in well-known internet and technology companies globally.
Soheil started his career after university as a Co-Founder with Rocket Internet, building businesses internationally. Having worked as an investment manager at Kohlberg Kravis Roberts (KKR) and being active in investment banking at Morgan Stanley, Mirpour gained additional experience as a professional investor. In 2017 Soheil Mirpour rejoined Rocket Internet as Partner of the Global Founders Capital division at Rocket Internet and rose to the Executive Board in 2020.

He studied Business Administration at the WHU in Vallendar and ESSEC in Paris. Additionally, Mirpour was a Scholar of the German Academic Scholarship (Studienstiftung des deutschen Volkes).
