A warm welcome to the new semester! 🌷

Last weekend, the lectures of the summer semester officially began for Class 23, with beautiful spring weather here in Würzburg.

This semester also brings some changes for the MIB: we are pleased to welcome 7 students from the Master Transformation program, our sister program in Schweinfurt, which unfortunately could not start this year.

During a short visit to the course on European History with Bjoern Baltzer, I had the pleasure of personally greeting some of our new students. We are delighted to have them join our community and enrich the program with their perspectives.

Thank you very much for the lovely evening we spent together.
We hope you enjoyed the mulled wine (a typical German speciality, drunk during the Christmas season).

We wish everyone a wonderful Christmas season and highly recommend (also) visiting the Nuremberg Christmas market – it is said to be the most beautiful in Germany!

Dear Students of the 1st Semester,

welcome to Germany, welcome to Würzburg, welcome at the THWS, welcome to the MIB!

We hope you enjoyed your first class with Prof. Wagner yesterday.

The study&stay job fair, organized by the THWS Career Service in collaboration with the University of Würzburg, will take place this winter semester in Würzburg.

On October 21st and 22nd, 2025, from 10:00 to 16:00, you will have the opportunity to meet around 100 regional and national companies and organizations, network, and learn about internships and entry-level opportunities at the Mensa on Hubland Süd. All information about the study&stay and the exhibitors can be found on the Career Service website.
