Der Alumniverein zur Förderung des Studiengangs Internationale Betriebswirtschaft und Außenwirtschaft (IBA) e.V. besteht seit April 1995. Von Anfang an zielte die Alumni-Initiative darauf, die Beziehungen zwischen aktiven und ehemaligen Studenten des Studienganges zu fördern und die Beziehungen zwischen ehemaligen Studenten untereinander zu beleben. Denn die Exmatrikulation bedeutet zwar die Beend

igung des Studiums, aber gleichzeitig ist es auch der Beginn einer neuen dauerhaften Beziehung zur FH Worms und dem Studiengang IBA. Um von dieser Beziehung sowohl aktive als auch passive Vereinsmitglieder profitieren zu lassen, hat sich der Verein unter anderem folgende Aufgaben gestellt:

- Präsentation unseres Studiengangs "IBA"
- Schaffung eines Kommunikationsnetzwerkes für aktive und ehemalige Studenten
- Einbringung von Anregungen in die Gremien der Fachhochschule für eine berufschancenfördernde Hochschullehre
- Die Pflege von Kontaktbeziehungen zu Unternehmen und anderen wirtschaftlichen Organisationen und Vereinigungen
- Unterstützung der Studenten des Studiengangs "IBA" bei der Suche nach Praktikanten- und Diplomandenstellen
- Jährliche Organisation des Außenwirtschaftstages (Ehemaligentreffen)
- Kontaktforum für Gastvorträge und Veranstaltungsforen mit namhaften Experten
- Betreuung und Verwaltung der aktiven und passiven Mitglieder
- Teilnahme an diversen Hochschulaktivitäten
