Misr University for Science and Technology is a leading independent university in Egypt, it was established by the presidential decree No. 245/1996 in accordance with law No.101/1992 governing private universities in Egypt. MUST enjoys full legal recognition by all educational authorities in Egypt & is authorized to grant B.A, B.S, M.A, M.S & Ph.D. All the programs at MUST have been accredited by

The Supreme Council of Universities in Egypt. The university follows the credit hours system, in general, one credit hour is the equivalent of one lecture hour every week for one semester. Two or more laboratory hours may be counted as one credit hour. The academic year is divided into two semesters of 16 weeks each. The fall semester usually starts in the third week of September, and the spring semester starts in the third week of February. An eight-week summer session is also available after the second semester. Language of Instruction :
English is the language of instruction in all colleges except for the Arabic branches of the colleges of Business, Archaeology and Mass Media. Academic Advising :
It is the university policy that each student is entitled to academic advising. In each specialization, the dean or department head concerned assigns academic advisors to provide students with pertinent information about their major, and to assist in planning their program of study, and in solving their academic problems. تمثيل رسمي متميز لجامعة مصر للعلوم والتكنولوجيا في صياغة المستقبل الأخضر! 🌍🌱
في إطار تعزيز الشراكات الوطنية ودعم رؤية مصر 2030 للتحول الرقمي والاقتصاد الأخضر، شاركت الأستاذة الدكتورة إنجي بدوي (المدير التنفيذي لوحدة تكافؤ الفرص والمساواة بين الجنسين بالجامعة) والدكتورة مارينا موريس (منسق الوحدة)، ممثلتين عن الجامعة في ورشة العمل الرفيعة التي استضافها المجلس القومي للمرأة بمقره الرئيسي، برئاسة المستشارة أمل عمار.
جاءت الورشة تحت عنوان «دعم المبادرة الوطنية للمشروعات الخضراء الذكية وتمكين المرأة المصرية والشباب في المحافظات»، وشهدت حضوراً مميزاً من الخبراء وشركاء التنمية لمناقشة آليات دمج التكنولوجيا بحماية البيئة، وتعزيز دور الشباب والمرأة كقوة قاطعة في مسيرة التنمية المستدامة.
تأتي هذه المشاركة الخارجية تعزيزاً لدور الجامعة الأكاديمي والمجتمعي، ونقلاً لأحدث الممارسات والخبرات الوطنية إلى قلب الحرم الجامعي، لتشجيع طلابنا وطالباتنا على ابتكار مشروعات ريادية ذكية تصنع أثراً بيئياً واقتصادياً حقيقياً في مستقبل الوطن. 🎓✨

MUST Leadership Represented at the National Council for Women! 🌍🌱
Advancing our role in national sustainability and empowerment initiatives, Prof. Dr. Ingy Badawy (Executive Director of the Equal Opportunities and Gender Equality Unit at MUST) and Dr. Marina Morris (Unit Coordinator) officially represented Misr University for Science and Technology at a prestigious workshop hosted at the National Council for Women (NCW) headquarters.
Led by Counselor Amal Ammar, President of the NCW, the workshop titled "Supporting the National Initiative for Smart Green Projects and Empowering Egyptian Women and Youth in the Governorates" focused on driving Egypt's green transformation. It highlighted the essential integration of digital innovation with environmental protection, highlighting youth and women as key drivers of sustainable development.
Through this impactful external participation, MUST continues to connect national strategies with the academic world, bringing best practices back to campus to inspire our students to spearhead smart, eco-friendly projects that support Egypt’s Vision 2030 and the New Republic. 🎓✨

MUST University Hosts Prof. Maher Atari for an International Scientific Day on Bioactive Regenerative Dentistry.

Program key areas:

في خطوة استراتيجية تعكس رؤيتها نحو تمكين الكفاءات النسائية الشابة ودفع عجلة التطوير المؤسسي، أصدر مجلس أمناء جامعة مصر للعلوم والتكنولوجيا، برئاسة الأستاذ خالد الطوخي، قراراً بتعيين الدكتورة إيمان أحمد عبد العزيز في منصب الأمين العام للجامعة.

​ويأتي هذا الاختيار تتويجاً لمسيرتها المتميزة في الإدارة الجامعية؛ حيث تشغل منصب رئيس قطاع تطوير الأعمال بالجامعة ومؤسساتها، وتتولى إدارة ملف العلاقات الدولية وشؤون الطلاب الوافدين، بالإضافة إلى دورها الفاعل كعضو بمجلس إدارة مستشفى سعاد كفافي الجامعي.

Empowering Female Leadership: Dr. Iman Ahmed Abdel Aziz Appointed as Secretary-General of Misr University for Science & Technology

​In a strategic move reflecting its vision to empower young female leaders and drive institutional development, the Board of Trustees of Misr University for Science & Technology, chaired by Mr Khaled El-Toukhy, has officially appointed Dr. Iman Ahmed Abdel Aziz as the University’s Secretary-General.

​This appointment comes as a testament to her distinguished career in university management. Dr. Abdel Aziz currently serves as the Head of the Business Development Sector for the university and its affiliates, manages the International Relations and Foreign Students department, and is an active board member of the prestigious Souad Kafafi University Hospital.

We wish Dr. Iman Ahmed Abdel Aziz the absolute best of luck in her new role as she helps steer MUST toward even greater horizons of academic and institutional excellence.

A new attempt to save our sons from Addiction
In line with promoting community awareness and safeguarding the university campus, the Equal Opportunities and Gender Equality Unit participated in the seminar entitled "Awareness of the Harms of Drugs and the Criminal and Disciplinary Liability of Drug Abuse", organized by the National Council for Women, following a kind invitation from Counselor Amal Ammar, President of the Council.

The university was represented by Prof. Dr. Engy Badawy, Executive Director of the Unit, and Dr. Marina Maurice, Unit Coordinator.
The event featured vital sessions addressing early detection methods of addiction and the family's role as the first line of defense, alongside reviewing the national strategy for combating addiction and the vital roles of hotlines (15115 and 16023) in providing confidential counseling and free treatment.
This participation reflects the Unit’s commitment to supporting community awareness efforts and promoting a culture of prevention and protection within and beyond the university community, in alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals.
محاولة جديدة لإنقاذ أبنائنا من الإدمان
في إطار تعزيز جهود التوعية وحماية المجتمع الجامعي، شاركت وحدة تكافؤ الفرص والمساواة بين الجنسين بالجامعة في اللقاء التوعوي بعنوان "التوعية بأضرار المخدرات والمسؤولية الجنائية والتأديبية للتعاطي"، والذي نظمه المجلس القومي للمرأة، بناءً على دعوة كريمة من المستشارة أمل عمار، رئيسة المجلس.
مثّل الجامعة في اللقاء الأستاذة الدكتورة إنجي بدوي، المدير التنفيذي للوحدة، والدكتورة مارينا موريس، منسق الوحدة.

وشهدت الفعالية جلسات ومحاور هامة تناولت آليات الاكتشاف المبكر للإدمان ودور الأسرة كخط دفاع أول، بالإضافة إلى استعراض الاستراتيجية الوطنية لمكافحة الإدمان، ودور الخطوط الساخنة (15115 و16023) في تقديم الدعم والمشورة والعلاج المجاني وسرية التامة.
تأتي هذه المشاركة تأكيداً على دور الوحدة في دعم جهود التوعية المجتمعية، وتعزيز ثقافة الوقاية والحماية داخل المجتمع الجامعي وخارجه بما يتماشى مع أهداف التنمية المستدامة.

Snippets from the participation of the university’s Equal Opportunities and Gender Equality Unit in the "Financial Literacy" training program, organized in cooperation with the National Council for Women at the university premises.

The program targeted female students at the Faculty of Dentistry to enhance their financial planning and management skills. The sessions were delivered by Mr. Tamer Saeed Abdelrahman, Financial Literacy Trainer, and Mr. Mohamed Fouad, Financial Inclusion Agreements Officer at Banque Misr, covering key concepts of saving, personal budgeting, and the importance of financial inclusion and banking services.

This initiative reaffirms the university’s ongoing commitment to women’s empowerment and enhancing the economic and developmental awareness among students.

لقطات من مشاركة وحدة تكافؤ الفرص والمساواة بين الجنسين بالجامعة في الدورة التدريبية المتخصصة في مجال "التثقيف المالي"، والتي عُقدت بالتعاون مع المجلس القومي للمرأة بمقر الجامعة.
