هاني سويلم وزيرًا لـ«الري والموارد المائية» في التعديل الوزاري الجديد 2022
DeVilag congratulates Prof. Dr. Hani Sewilam on the appointment as Minister of Irrigation and Water Resources

علمت «المصري اليوم» أن الدكتور هاني سويلم أستاذ الموارد المائية بجامعة أخن الألمانية، تم اختياره لتولي حقيبة وزارة الري والموارد المائية.
It was just announced in Almasry Alyoum that Prime Minister Dr. Mustafa Madbouly, nominated him by requesting the addition o his name to the President's letter to the House of Representatives for approval.

وشارك هاني سويلم في الإعداد لاستراتيجية مصر لإدارة المياه والطاقة من أجل إنتاج الغذاء اعتمادًا على الموارد المائية المحدودة لمصر، وفرص تحلية المياه وإنتاج المحاصيل والأسماك.

علمت «المصري اليوم» أن الدكتور هاني سويلم أستاذ الموارد المائية بجامعة أخن الألمانية، تم اختياره لتولي حقيبة وزارة الري والموارد المائية. وأضافت المصادر أن الدكتو....

Organic Egypt Project
Organic Egypt is an international cooperation project between the Training & Development Center of the Bavarian Employers’ Associations, Germany and the Heliopolis University for Sustainable Development, Egypt. The project focuses on developing awareness programs and improving the organic agricultural sector in Egypt. The project is searching for an agricultural engineer to support the project activities.

Main responsibilities
• Communication between partners and stakeholders
• Plan and implement projects
• Monitor and report on projects progress
• Field follow-up for implemented projects
• Evaluate and assess result of projects
• Research best practices for sustainable certification systems
• Implement educational-, and awareness raising campaigns for the organic sector
• Create content for social media and websites
• Launch and manage social media campaigns
• Writ newsletter articles for project partners

Education, qualifications, and experience of the applicant
• A bachelor’s degree in agricultural sciences
• At least 1 year of experience as agricultural engineer
• Outstanding interpersonal and communications skills
• Excellent command of written and spoken English
• Good understanding of social media platforms
• Good skills in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace
• Excellent time-management and organizational skills
• Ability for travelling to different governorates

Terms of appointment and benefits
This is a full-time nationally recruited position (in Egypt). The successful candidate will be offered an initial contract of 1 year with the possibility of extension, renewable subject to satisfactory performance. The first 3 months will be a probationary period.

Sharing the ideas of sustainable development with the German Foreign Minister Ms Annalena Baerbock and Egyptian Stakeholders!

On Friday German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock visited Egypt and the German Embassy Cairo - السفارة الالمانية بالقاهرة and DAAD Egypt invited for a small presentation of important partners in the German-Egyptian Climate Dialogue. One of the invitees was our partner Heliopolis University for Sustainable Development and SEKEM Group who chose to present DeVilag and SureMap Project as representative samples of activities happening on the ground.

It was a great honour to present to the minister and her delegation with other high ranked members of the ministry and at the same time get the opportunity to network with other players in the sustainability sector.

Once again we need to highlight the need of further global exchange in fighting climate change! 🌳🌿🐝☀
