This day marks the anniversary of the Soviet Union's victory over N**i Germany in World War II. This historic victory stands as a testament to the extraordinary resilience and immense sacrifices made by millions in defense of their homeland against the horrors of war. The commemoration is marked by solemn official ceremonies, culminating in a military parade in Red Square, where feelings of national pride intertwine with a spirit of loyalty and honor. The occasion also pays tribute to those who gave their lives and reaffirms the enduring values of courage, unity, and peace.

In a scene reflecting the depth of the strategic partnership between Egypt and the Republic of Tatarstan in Russia, Kazan Federal University in Cairo witnessed a historic, high-level visit characterized by mutual respect and an ambitious vision for the future.
Dr. Walid Daabas, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Modern Foundation, welcomed His Excellency Rustam Minnikhanov, President of the Republic of Tatarstan, at the university's branch in Arab Republic of Egypt, at the head of a high-level Tatarstan delegation. This served as a message affirming that education is the strongest bridge between people. The event was further enhanced by the presence of prominent Egyptian figures, including His Excellency Professor Dr. Abdel Aziz Qansouh, the Egyptian Minister of Higher Education whose presence enriched the Egyptian state's support for internationalization in higher education and opening channels of cooperation with the world's most prestigious universities and His Excellency Eng. Khaled Hashem, The Egyptian Minister of Industry, whose presence reflected the importance of linking educational outcomes with the major industrial development that the country is witnessing nowadays. This was in the presence of Professor Lenar Safin, Rector of Kazan Federal University in the Russian Federation and under his constant support and future vision.
The atmosphere was characterized by both seriousness and cordiality. The delegation listened to a presentation by Professor Ayman Shafei, Head of the Kazan Federal University branch in Cairo, about the university's history, academic programs, teaching methods, and assessment procedures according to the standards of the mother university. The delegation then toured the university, viewing the modern facilities that blend Egyptian and Russian heritage with recent technology. The dialogue between the two sides reflected a deep understanding and a shared aspiration to make this branch a regional academic center for innovation and scientific research.
Dr. Walid Daabas affirmed that Modern Foundation is committed to continuing its passionate work to ensure that Kazan Federal University in Cairo becomes a model of excellence in education and scientific research, and a living symbol of Egyptian-Russian Partnership.
في مشهدٍ يعكس عمق الشراكة الاستراتيجية بين مصر وجمهورية تتارستان بدولة روسيا الإتحادية، شهد فرع جامعة كازان الفيدرالية بالقاهرة زيارةً تاريخية رفيعة المستوى، غلب عليها طابع التقدير المتبادل والرؤية الطموحة للمستقبل.
قام السيد الدكتور/ وليد دعبس رئيس مجلس أمناء مؤسسة مودرن باستقبال فخامة الرئيس رستم مينيخانوف، رئيس جمهورية تتارستان، في فرع الجامعة في جمهورية مصر العربية على رأس وفدٍ تتاري رفيع المستوى، وذلك بمثابة رسالة تأكيد على أن التعليم هو الجسر الأقوى بين الشعوب. وقد زاد المشهد ثقلاً حضور قامات الدولة المصرية وهم معالي المهندس/ خالد هاشم وزير الصناعة، الذي عكس تواجدُه أهمية الربط بين المخرجات التعليمية والنهضة الصناعية الكبرى التي تشهدها البلاد ومعالي الأستاذ الدكتور/ عبد العزيز قنصوة، الذي جسّد حضوره دعم الدولة المصرية للتدويل في التعليم العالي وفتح آفاق التعاون مع أعرق الجامعات العالمية. بالإضافة إلى حضور السيد الأستاذ / لينار صافين رئيس جامعة كازان الفيدرالية بدولة روسيا الإتحادية تحت دعمه الدائم ورؤيته المستقبلية.
اتسمت الأجواء بالجدية والمودة في آنٍ واحد؛ حيث استمع الوفد لعرض تقديمي من السيد الأستاذ الدكتور / أيمن شافعي رئيس فرع جامعة كازان الفيدرالية بالقاهرة عن تاريخ إنشاء الجامعة والبرامج الدراسية وطرق التدريس والتقييم طبقا لمعايير الجامعة الأم ثم تجول الوفد في أروقة الجامعة، مطلعين على أحدث التجهيزات التي تمزج بين الأصالة المصرية والروسية في ثوب التكنولوجيا الحديثة. كان الحوار بين الجانبين ينم عن تفاهمٍ عميق، وتطلّعٍ لجعل هذا الفرع مركزاً إقليمياً أكاديميا وللابتكار والبحث العلمي.
وأكد السيد الدكتور/ وليد دعبس إن مؤسسة مودرن تعاهد على استمرار العمل بكل شغف ليكون فرع جامعة كازان في القاهرة نموذجاً يُحتذى به في جودة التعليم والبحث العلمي، ورمزاً حياً للصداقة المصرية الروسية.

Kazan Federal University in Cairo shared Distinguished Guests from Kazan Federal University in Russia and Egypt, Council of International branches of Foreign Universities in Egypt, Egyptian National Council for Women, Ministry of Health and Population and United Nations Population Fund Agency to Celebrate Women’s Day on the Theme "From the Nile to The Volga Celebrating the Women’s Strength”. Together we brought select group of visionaries and community leaders to celebrate the social, economic, and cultural achievements of women while advocating for a more inclusive future. With extraordinary leadership and extreme commitment, all the attendees added immense value and inspiration to our gathering.

Professor Ekatrina Turilova, The vice Rector for academic affairs of Kezan Federal University visited Cairo branch to follow up the educational process of General Medicine, Dental Medicine and Pharmacy Programs in Kazan Federal University in Cairo.

The Vice Rector shared the teaching staff and the students all the activities in *KFU in Cairo Scientific Day* including skills' competitions and poster presentation.

Prof. Ekatrina shared the Cairo Campus Administration in awarding the distinguished students who achieved an outstanding participation and valuable contribution to "The Scientific Day "at Kazan Federal University in Cairo.

This is to ensure the safety of all students.
