Must – Have to

We must go to the bank= We have to go to the bank

You must file your taxes by March 17th. = You have to file your taxes by March 17th.
It must be 80 degrees in here. = It has to be 80 degrees in here.
I must know, where did you get your shoes? = I have to know, where did you get your shoes?
You must come visit us. = You have to come visit us.
Must you be so annoying? = Do you have to be so annoying?
• أخيرا يُستخدم كلا من فعل must و have to في حالة الماضي بصيغة had to.
Must- Have to
تتماثل كل الاستخدامات المذكورة بالأعلى ل must و have to إلا أن must تستخدم رسمياً أكثر من have to وبخاصة في الكتابة.
I only have to read 7 more pages and then I’m done with the novel.

You must stop bothering the children
I must take my drugs after lunch
You have to be kind to win her heart
You have to eat breakfast before playing football

You look tired, you must be ill
You must be happy, you will see your friend soon
He must be sad, he lost his dog

Have to

She mustn’t use such horrible language.
You mustn’t drive more than 25 mph in this area.
• في الوقت الذي يشير فيه don’t have to (نفي have to) إلى عدم ضرورة فعل الشيء مع إمكانية فعله.
She didn’t have to attend the meeting.
