A New App-Building Challenge for Students, from Google
Hi,
Google just launched a great initiative for students called The AdMob Student App Challenge and you have an opportunity to enter!
The prizes are really prestigious, including a week-long trip to San Francisco for the winning team, with a visit to the Google headquarters in Mountain View, California.
What is it?
AdMob is a Google-owned platform for app developers to help them earn income by showing ads in their mobile apps.
The goal of the Challenge is to build a great app, learn how to use AdMob, and submit a short business report explaining your strategy. Your app will be judged by Google and a panel of respected industry experts. Students from all over the world can take part.
The contest is open for registration now, and you have until June 28, 2016 to build your app. It’s open to students from any discipline, and teams can have a maximum of five people. Register today!
The prizes!
There will be 4 regional finalists and 1 Grand Prize winner. The 4 regional finalists will take home Google devices and have their apps featured on the AdMob website.
The Grand Prize winner will score a week-long trip to San Francisco, including a visit to Google HQ. Google’ll feature their app on the Google Play store (if the app is available on the Play Store) and produce a video starr
