LES ROCHES SUMMER PROGRAM COMPETITION 2020 FOR STUDENTS FROM EGYPT -

You have the unique opportunity to win a place on a 1-week 2020 Summer Program at Les Roches Switzerland and experience a taste of the vibrant hospitality industry!

Competition Guidelines:

Submit a one-minute video or an essay explaining what you love about the world of hospitality management and why you would like to participate in our Summer Program.

Open to students as of the age of 16 - 18
15 applicants will be invited to join our Leadership Workshop at Izakaya, on March 13th, 2020. The Summer program winner will be announced during the Workshop Session.

Ecole Ducasse Pastry Masterclass Demo:

Culinary & Gastronomy interested students, you now have the opportunity to become one of the selected candidates to attend a Pastry Demo Class by “Chef Jeremy” at Izakaya on behalf of Ecole Ducasse.
The 15 selected students attending the demo will receive an official participation certificate.

Open to 17+ year olds.

Competition Guidelines:

Submit a one-minute video showcasing & explaining a personal culinary/pastry creation and the reasons of your interest in the world of Ducasse culinary & pastry arts
OR write a 150 words essay explaining your passion in culinary/pastry arts and the reasons of your interest in the world of Ducasse culinary & pastry arts.

On Tuesday we took some of our Master in Luxury and Fashion students to the 080 Barcelona Fashion Week to see brands associated with MODACC, who exhibit internationally.
Our students immersed themselves in the atmosphere of fashion heaven!
The highlight of the night was the fashion show by Boris Bidjan, a top icon in luxury fashion and regular on the Paris runway!

WIN A FULLY FUNDED SUMMER COURSE SCHOLARSHIP OR AN INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITY!

Challenge yoself in our upcoming YO session for art, fashion & design contest for a chance to win a fully funded summer course scholarship in Spain or Italy.

A documented creative competition; organized by YouthOut together with AUC’s Student Union.

The competition is open to both high school and university students (strictly 16-23) who would like to pursue a career in fashion, design and/or arts.
However, only 36 contestants will be carefully chosen to take part.
Refreshment, music, and art will be served throughout.

Judging the contestants will be
Mohanad Kojak founder of Kojak, Farida Temraza founder of Temraza, Jude Benhalim founder of Jude Benhalim Jewelry, and Socialite Heba Serag Eldin founder of Fashion Funds.

Competition Details:
Pre-Event: contestants have to submit a 30 sec. video stating why they should be part of the upcoming YO Session.
Elimination: only 36 will be chosen to go through to the next round.
Nov 22nd: YO Meet & Greet
Orientation Day for the finalists.
Nov 30th: YO Session Day

Contestants will be divided into 6 teams of 6 (signing up as a team or individually is optional) -

Two Rounds: (Briefly)
For the first round teams will be given a model, a beauty station, and certain tools and art supplies to execute and style ONE product and a shoot. Models will walk the runway followed by the team presentations.

Only ONE team will go through to the FINAL Round.
Final Round will consist of 6 contestants and 2 will be eligible to win the summer course scholarship.

Third Place: Gifts
