Over three consecutive Saturdays, from 11 July to 25 July 2026, the Faculty of Law at The British University in Egypt, in cooperation with the School of Continuing Education and Badran Law Firm, proudly hosted a practical workshop on International Commercial Arbitration Practice. The programme provided participants with valuable practical insights into one of the most significant fields of modern legal practice. ⚖️

The workshop brought together legal practitioners, academics, and students from The British University in Egypt, offering a practical introduction to international commercial arbitration and creating a dynamic environment for learning, discussion, and professional development.

Throughout the workshop, participants explored a wide range of theoretical, practical, and strategic aspects of arbitration, including key Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) mechanisms and post-award arbitration proceedings, equipping them with practical knowledge and skills relevant to contemporary legal practice. 📚

⚖️ The Faculty of Law at The British University in Egypt proudly hosted the second edition of its annual Projects' Day, showcasing the Faculty's commitment to experiential legal education and student achievement.
The programme featured presentations on the academic programme, student projects, the Moot Court Unit, the Legal Clinic, internships, and the Professional Master's in Cybercrime Investigations. It also included two engaging panel discussions: "Bridging Legal Education and the Profession" and "BUE Law Graduates: From Faculty Halls to Career." 🎓💼
The event concluded with the recognition of the Classes of 2025 and 2026, Moot Court participants, and a special tribute in memory of a late student.
In his closing remarks, Professor Ibrahim Salama, Dean of the Faculty of Law, emphasised that Projects' Day was designed as a platform for meaningful dialogue rather than a celebratory event. He noted that the discussions generated valuable ideas and recommendations that will contribute to the Faculty's continuous development, ensuring graduates are fully prepared to excel in the legal profession. 📚⚖️
