جامعة القاهرة في قلب الصناعة الوطنية.. مجلس كلية الطب البيطري ينعقد داخل مدينة اللقاحات والبيوتكنولوجي بالاسماعيلية لتدشين شراكات استراتيجية تربط بالصناعة وتوقيع بروتوكول تعاون شامل بحضور رئيس جامعة القاهرة

في خطوة استراتيجية تعكس توجه نحو مد جسور التعاون بين المؤسسات الأكاديمية والقطاع الصناعي التطبيقي، عقدت كلية الطب البيطري – جامعة القاهرة مجلسها الاستثنائي في رحاب مدينة اللقاحات والبيوتكنولوجي (VBC)، بحضور معالي الأستاذ الدكتور/ محمد سامي عبد الصادق، رئيس جامعة القاهرة، ومعالي الأستاذ الدكتور/ محمد رفعت، نائب رئيس الجامعة لشئون خدمة المجتمع وتنمية البيئة، إلى جانب قيادات وأساتذة وكذلك قيادات مدينة اللقاحات والبيوتكنولوجي متمثلة في أ.د/ مجدي السيد - الرئيس التنفيذي واللواء د. محسن عزوز - رئيس مجلس الإدارة و د. هبة والي - نائب الرئيس التنفيذي.
وشهد اللقاء توقيع بروتوكول تعاون بين كلية الطب البيطري ومدينة VBC، الذي بهدف إلى تعزيز الشراكة في مجالات تطوير وتقييم اللقاحات والمستحضرات البيولوجية، والتشخيص المتقدم، والتكنولوجيا الحيوية، ونقل التكنولوجيا، إلى جانب تدريب الطلاب والباحثين وربط مخرجات البحث العلمي باحتياجات الصناعة والإنتاج.
وأكد الأستاذ الدكتور/ محمد سامي عبد الصادق أن انعقاد مجلس كلية الطب البيطري داخل مدينة اللقاحات والبيوتكنولوجي يحمل رسالة واضحة تعكس توجه الجامعة نحو الخروج بالعملية التعليمية والبحثية إلى مواقع الصناعة والإنتاج، مشيرًا إلى أن البحث العلمي لم يعد نشاطًا أكاديميًا منفصلًا، بل أصبح عنصرًا أساسيًا في تطوير الصناعة وتعزيز قدرتها التنافسية.
وأضاف أن جامعة القاهرة تولي اهتمامًا كبيرًا بتحويل المعرفة والابتكارات إلى قيمة اقتصادية ومجتمعية، ودعم الأفكار البحثية القابلة للتطبيق وربطها بالقطاعات الإنتاجية، بما يسهم في تحويل الابتكارات المصرية إلى منتجات وتكنولوجيات قادرة على المنافسة محليًا وإقليميًا ودوليًا.
*رؤية كلية الطب البيطري: نحو كلية منتجة وبحث تطبيقي مؤثر*
ومن جانبه، أكد الأستاذ الدكتور/ أحمد سمير - عميد كلية الطب البيطري، أهمية الربط بين البحث العلمي واحتياجات الصناعة الحقيقية، وتحويل المخرجات البحثية إلى تطبيقات ومنتجات وابتكارات تسهم في خدمة المجتمع ودعم الاقتصاد الوطني.
وأشار إلى أن كلية الطب البيطري تسعى إلى تعزيز دورها كـكلية منتجة معتمدة معنية بصحة الحيوان وحماية الإنسان تجمع بين التميز الأكاديمي والبحث التطبيقي وخدمة المجتمع، بما يتسق مع دورها في دعم منظومة الصحة الواحدة.
كما أكد أن دعم إدارة كان له دور مهم في تطوير البرامج الأكاديمية والبحثية والمعامل والأنشطة المختلفة بالكلية، مشيدًا بجهود وكلاء الكلية وأعضاء هيئة التدريس وروح العمل الجماعي التي تدفع الكلية نحو مزيد من التميز والتطوير.
*آفاق واعدة لتوطين صناعة اللقاحات وتدريب الكوادر*
ومن جانبه، رحب الأستاذ الدكتور/ مجدي السيد - الرئيس التنفيذي لمدينة اللقاحات والبيوتكنولوجي، بقيادات جامعة القاهرة وأعضاء مجلس كلية الطب البيطري، مؤكدًا أهمية تعزيز التعاون بين المؤسسات العلمية والصناعية ودور البحث العلمي باعتباره أحد المحركات الرئيسية للتنمية وتوطين التكنولوجيا.
وأشار إلى تطلع مدينة اللقاحات والبيوتكنولوجي لتعميق التعاون مع كلية الطب البيطري في مجالات البحث والتطوير والتدريب، بما يسهم في دعم القدرات الوطنية وتعزيز مكانة مصر في مجال تصنيع اللقاحات والتكنولوجيا الحيوية.
كما أكد أهمية VBC Academy باعتبارها منصة للتدريب وتأهيل الكوادر المصرية والأفريقية وفق أحدث المعايير، داعيًا إلى تعزيز الشراكة الأكاديمية والتدريبية مع كلية الطب البيطري، بما يفتح آفاقًا جديدة أمام الطلاب والباحثين للتعرف على بيئة العمل الصناعية والتكنولوجيات الحديثة.
*الصحة الواحدة وتكامل التخصصات*
وأكد معالي رئيس جامعة القاهرة أهمية تبني مفهوم «الصحة الواحدة – One Health»، الذي يربط بين صحة الإنسان والحيوان والبيئة، مشيرًا إلى أن هذا المفهوم يفتح آفاقًا واسعة للتكامل بين التخصصات الطبية والبيطرية والبيئية.
وأوضح أن الجامعة تستهدف مستقبلًا توسيع نطاق التعاون مع مدينة اللقاحات والبيوتكنولوجي ليشمل تخصصات وكليات أخرى ذات صلة، بما يدعم البحث متعدد التخصصات، وتوطين التكنولوجيا، وتعزيز الأمن الصحي.
*شراكة من البحث إلى التطبيق*
ويتضمن بروتوكول التعاون تنفيذ البحوث والمشروعات التطبيقية المشتركة في مجالات تطوير وتقييم اللقاحات والمستحضرات البيولوجية ووسائل التشخيص، وتطبيق تقنيات الجينوميات والبروتيوميات والمعلوماتية الحيوية، إلى جانب تطوير عمليات الإنتاج الحيوي، ودراسات الأمان والفاعلية والثبات والمناعة.
كما تشمل الشراكة تنظيم الدورات التدريبية والمؤتمرات وورش العمل، وتبادل الخبراء والباحثين، وتقديم الخدمات والاستشارات العلمية والفنية والمعملية، فضلًا عن دعم الابتكار وريادة الأعمال وبراءات الاختراع ونقل التكنولوجيا.
واختُتمت الزيارة بجولة ميدانية داخل مدينة اللقاحات والبيوتكنولوجي، حيث تعرف الحضور على الإمكانات البحثية والتكنولوجية والبنية التحتية المتطورة للمدينة، بما تضمه من معامل للبحث والتطوير والرقابة على الجودة ووحدات إنتاجية متخصصة في مجال اللقاحات والتكنولوجيا الحيوية.
وتأتي هذه الزيارة والشراكة الجديدة لتؤكد توجه جامعة القاهرة نحو بناء نموذج عملي للتكامل بين #الأكاديميا والصناعة، بحيث لا تتوقف مخرجات عند حدود النشر الأكاديمي، بل تمتد لتتحول إلى تطبيقات وابتكارات ومنتجات تسهم في خدمة المجتمع، ودعم الاقتصاد الوطني، وتوطين الصناعات والتكنولوجيات الاستراتيجية.

In a strategic step reflecting Cairo University’s commitment to building bridges of cooperation between academic institutions and the applied industrial sector, the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Cairo University held its Extraordinary Council Meeting at the Vaccine and Biotechnology City ( ), in the presence of Prof. Dr. Mohamed Sami Abdel Sadek, President of Cairo University, and Prof. Dr. Mohamed Refaat, Vice President of Cairo University for Community Service and Environmental Development, alongside academic leaders and faculty members of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, as well as the leadership of the Vaccine and Biotechnology City, represented by Prof. Dr. Magdy El-Sayed, CEO; Major General Dr. Mohsen Azzouz, Chairman of the Board; and Dr. Heba Wali, Deputy CEO.
The meeting witnessed the signing of a Cooperation Protocol between the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and VBC, aimed at strengthening collaboration in the fields of vaccine and biological product development and evaluation, advanced diagnostics, biotechnology, and technology transfer, in addition to training students and researchers and linking scientific research outputs with the needs of industry and production.
Prof. Dr. Mohamed Sami Abdel Sadek emphasized that holding the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine Council at the Vaccine and Biotechnology City sends a clear message reflecting the University’s direction toward taking education and research beyond the traditional academic setting and into industrial and production environments. He noted that scientific research is no longer merely an academic activity conducted in isolation, but has become a fundamental driver of industrial development and enhanced competitiveness.
He added that Cairo University places strong emphasis on transforming knowledge and innovations into economic and societal value, supporting research ideas with practical potential, and linking them to productive sectors. This approach contributes to transforming Egyptian innovations into products and technologies capable of competing locally, regionally, and internationally.
Faculty of Veterinary Medicine Vision: Towards a Productive Faculty and Impactful Applied Research
For his part, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Samir, Dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, emphasized the importance of connecting scientific research with genuine industrial needs and transforming research outputs into applications, products, and innovations that contribute to serving society and supporting the national economy.
He highlighted the Faculty’s commitment to strengthening its role as an accredited, productive faculty dedicated to animal health and human protection, integrating academic excellence, applied research, and community service in line with its role in advancing the One Health approach.
He also emphasized that the support provided by the administration of Cairo University has played an important role in developing the Faculty’s academic and research programs, laboratories, and various activities. He commended the efforts of the Faculty’s Vice Deans and faculty members, as well as the spirit of teamwork that continues to drive the Faculty toward further excellence and development.
Promising Prospects for Localizing Vaccine Manufacturing and Developing National Capacities
For his part, Prof. Dr. Magdy El-Sayed, CEO of the Vaccine and Biotechnology City, welcomed the leadership of Cairo University and members of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine Council, emphasizing the importance of strengthening cooperation between scientific and industrial institutions and highlighting scientific research as one of the key drivers of development and technology localization.
He expressed VBC’s aspiration to deepen cooperation with the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in the fields of research, development, and training, contributing to strengthening national capabilities and enhancing Egypt’s position in vaccine manufacturing and biotechnology.
He also highlighted the importance of VBC Academy as a platform for training and qualifying Egyptian and African professionals in accordance with the latest standards, calling for enhanced academic and training cooperation with the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine.
