في 25 يونيو، نظّمت كلية التكنولوجيا الحيوية بجامعة النيل بكل فخر يوم مناقشة مشروعات التخرج، في احتفالية عكست التميز العلمي، والإبداع، والإنجازات المتميزة لطلاب الدفعة.

وشهدت الفعالية حضور نخبة من المحكّمين والخبراء من الجامعات، والمؤسسات البحثية، والقطاع الصناعي، تأكيدًا على التزام الكلية بربط التعليم الأكاديمي بالبحث العلمي والابتكار واحتياجات الصناعة. وقد قدّم الطلاب مشروعاتهم أمام خبراء وممثلين من جامعة عين شمس، والمركز القومي للبحوث، ومدينة زويل للعلوم والتكنولوجيا والابتكار، وأكاديمية البحث العلمي والتكنولوجيا، والجامعة الألمانية بالقاهرة، وجامعة مصر للعلوم والتكنولوجيا (MUST)، وجامعة هيرتفوردشاير (University of Hertfordshire)، وشركة راية فودز (Raya Foods)، إلى جانب نخبة من المؤسسات الرائدة في مجالات التكنولوجيا الحيوية والصناعة. وأسهمت ملاحظاتهم العلمية والصناعية القيّمة في إثراء تجربة الطلاب وتعزيز التكامل بين التعليم والبحث العلمي واحتياجات سوق العمل.

On June 25, the School of Biotechnology at Nile University proudly hosted its Graduation Projects Discussion Day a celebration of scientific excellence, innovation, and the outstanding achievements of our graduating class.
The event brought together a distinguished panel of expert assessors from academia, research institutions, and industry, reflecting the School's strong commitment to bridging academic excellence with research, innovation, and industrial needs. Our students presented their projects before experts representing Ain Shams University, the National Research Centre (NRC), Zewail City of Science, Technology and Innovation, the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology (ASRT), the German University in Cairo (GUC), Misr University for Science and Technology (MUST), the University of Hertfordshire, Raya Foods, and other leading biotechnology and industrial organizations.

Congratulations to our Biotechnology students, Jana H. Abd El-Wahab, Adham M. AlDakrany, and Mohamed A. Aref, for winning 2nd Place at the Harvard Health Systems Innovation Lab (HSIL) Hackathon 2026!

Their AI-powered project, Neurozen, impressed judges by using MRI scans to predict glioma genetic properties without surgical intervention, earning them a place in the incubation program and an opportunity to showcase their innovation at Harvard University in Boston.

We are proud of this outstanding achievement by our School of Biotechnology students and wish them continued success!

We were proud to host the NU BIOTALENT Competition, bringing together some of the brightest secondary school students in a dynamic showcase of innovation, research, and creativity in biotechnology.

The event featured outstanding projects across multiple tracks, highlighting the remarkable potential of young talents:

🏆 Team 7 – Seizure-Track (STEM Dakahlia)

Workshop Recap: Emerging Technologies for Early Alzheimer’s Diagnosis

Our two-day workshop brought together interdisciplinary experts to explore how nano-biosensing and clinically relevant biomarkers, supported by AI, can strengthen early Alzheimer’s diagnosis.

Highlights included strengthening interdisciplinary collaboration across engineering, clinical medicine, and pharmaceutical sciences, and building strong partnerships between Nile University, the University of Bath, Cairo University, and Fayoum University.

Together, we exchanged knowledge, aligned shared research priorities, and discussed future joint activities. Thank you to everyone who made it happen!
