Under the patronage of Dr. Yahya Mabrouk, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Professor Dr. Reda Hegazy, President of the University, and Professor Dr. Gamal Moutamed, Dean of the Faculty of Oral and Dental Medicine, and stemming from the Faculty of Oral and Dental Medicine at Al-Ryada University for Science and Technology's commitment to preparing its students for a more informed and confident transition to clinical life, an online summer training program was organized for the faculty's students prior to the start of their clinical rotations. The program focused on a range of essential skills and knowledge that students need before entering the clinic, starting with clinic procedures and protocols, infection control, and handling emergencies. It also covered communication skills, professional patient interaction, and understanding the nature of the student-patient relationship and the medical team's dynamics. The training also included a set of soft skills and clinical etiquette to help students transition from academic practice to clinical application with greater professionalism and responsibility. ✨ The goal was not only to teach students what to do in the clinic, but also to prepare them for effective behavior, communication, and decision-making. A huge thank you to the faculty and doctors who participated in this training, for sharing their knowledge, experience, and support with our students. Together towards a more confident clinical start… towards preparing a distinguished generation of dentists. 🦷💙
