المؤتمر العلمي السنوي لقسم الهندسة الصناعية (2024-2025)

تحت رعاية الأستاذ الدكتور/ أحمد فاروق عبد الجواد - عميد كلية الهندسة، وإشراف الأستاذ الدكتور/ كمال عبد الفتاح - رئيس قسم الهندسة الصناعية، وإعداد الدكتور/ منصور السيد أبو جميلة - المنسق العام للمؤتمر، والمهندسة/ هند الناغي.
بكل فخر، استضاف قسم الهندسة الصناعية النسخة العاشرة من الحدث السنوي الIE Day، وهو حدث مميز مليء بالإلهام وتبادل المعرفة وبناء العلاقات المثمرة.
شهد المؤتمر حضور السادة أعضاء هيئة التدريس والهيئة المعاونة، وطلاب القسم، ونخبة من خبراء الصناعة وخريجي القسم الذين يشغلون مناصب بارزة في مختلف الشركات، بالإضافة إلى أصحاب قصص نجاح ملهمة.
قام بتقديم فعاليات المؤتمر ندى سعيد ومصطفى اسماعيل, طلاب بالفرقة الرابعة هندسة صناعية.
فى البداية تحدثت المهندسة هند عن دور اليوم العلمى للقسم فى تحفيز الطلاب واتاحة فرص لخلق علاقات وطيدة بين طلاب وخريجي القسم، كما يعتبر الIE Day فرصة متميزة لمعرفة متغيرات سوق العمل.
ثم سلمت المنصة إلى الأستاذ الدكتور كمال عبد الفتاح، رئيس قسم الهندسة الصناعية، الذي ألقى كلمة افتتاحية ملهمة حيث تحدث مرحبا ومقدما خالص شكره لضيوف المؤتمر والزملاء اعضاء هيئة التدريس والهيئة المعاونة وخريجى القسم وطلابه. وأكد سيادته على أهمية الفعالية فى غرس الانتماء بين خريجى القسم وقسمهم.
تضمنت فعاليات المؤتمر:
محاضرة الدكتور/ معتز يوسف - مدير التكنولوجيا والتحول بشركة Delegata للاستشارات في كاليفورنيا، الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية، الذي قدم محاضرة حول استشارات التكنولوجيا وشارك فى مناقشته 7 نصائح يجب على الطلاب التفكير فيها جيدا ووضع خطط لتحقيق مستقبل عظيم.
تحدث أيضا المهندس/ إبراهيم مصطفى - مدير تدريب العمليات بشركة RATP Dev Mobility، عن الدور المهم للمهندسين الصناعيين في قطاعات الخدمات والسكك الحديدية، وأبرز الفرص الوظيفية المتاحة في هذه المجالات.
كما شارك الطالب / أحمد عارف - بالفرقة الرابعة، نصائح قيمة لزملائه حول كيفية الاستفادة القصوى من فترة الدراسة الجامعية من خلال تجربته فى فرص التدريب.
ركز الدكتور منصور أبوجميلة ، منسق المؤتمر فى كلمته على أنشطة القسم وانجازاته العلمية خلال هذا العام، واهتمام القسم بمشاريع تطبيقية فى المقررات المختلفة وكذا مشاريع التخرج والتدريب الميدانى، وأن العلاقة المتميزة مع خريجى القسم تساهم فى خلق فرص تدريبية متميزة. كما أشار إلى أن المؤتمر هذا العام له اهتمام خاص إذ يأتى بالتزامن مع حصول القسم على الاعتماد البرامجي من هيئة ضمان الجودة والاعتماد الأكاديمى بوزارة التعليم العالى، وقدم خالص شكره لكل من ساهم فى هذا الإنجاز.
تضمنت الفعالية أيضاً جلسة نقاش تفاعلية، أجاب خلالها المحاضران الضيفان على أسئلة الجمهور حول فرص العمل واتجاهات السوق، مما أضفى حواراً غنياً ومفيداً. كما تميزت الفعاليات بالعديد من المناقشات التى أثرت معلومات الطلبة والخريجين بالتحديثات المختلفة فى التكنولوجيا، الصناعة والمجالات الخدمية، سعيا لسد الفجوة بين الدراسة الأكاديمية وسوق العمل.
اختتمت الفعاليات بتكريم الضيوف المحاضرين، والشركات الداعمة للقسم فى خلق مجالات تدريبية وفرص عمل للطلاب، وأعضاء الهيئة المعاونة الحاصلين على ترقيات هذا العام، وأوائل الطلاب لفرق القسم الأربعة للعام الأكاديمى 2023/2024، والطالب عمر محمد جمعة, فرقة اعدادي هندسة, الفائز بمسابقة تصميم البوستر المعلنة من القسم للجمهور. كما تم أيضا تكريم الطلاب المنظمين للمؤتمر والذين بذلوا جهدا متميزا من أجل نجاح المؤتمر.

The Annual Scientific Conference of the Industrial Engineering Department (2024-2025)

The Industrial Engineering Department proudly hosted the 10th annual IE Day, a remarkable event filled with inspiration, knowledge-sharing, and meaningful connections.
Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Ahmed Farouk Abdel-Gawad, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, and the supervision of Prof. Dr. Kamal Abdel-Fattah, Head of the Industrial Engineering Department, with preparation by Dr. Mansour El-Sayed Abougamila, and Eng. Hend El-Naghy. General Coordinators of the Conference,
The conference was attended by faculty members, teaching assistants, students, industry experts, and distinguished alumni who hold leading positions in various companies, alongside inspiring success stories. The conference was hosted by Nada Saeed and Moustafa Ismail, fourth-year Industrial Engineering students.
At the beginning, Eng. Hend Elnaghy spoke about the role of the IE Day in motivating students and creating opportunities to build deep connections between the department's students and alumni. She emphasized that IE Day is an excellent opportunity to learn about the changing dynamics of the job market.
She then handed over the stage to Prof. Dr. Kamal Abdel-Fattah, Head of the Industrial Engineering Department, who delivered an inspiring opening speech. He welcomed everyone and extended his heartfelt gratitude to all the department's staff and conference’s guests. He highlighted the importance of such events in fostering a sense of belonging between the department’s graduates and their alma mater.
Key highlights of the conference included:
**A lecture by Dr. Moataz Yousif, Director of Technology and Transformation at Delegata Consulting in California, USA, who delivered a talk on technology consulting and shared 7 key pieces of advice for students to consider carefully as they plan for a successful career ahead.
**Eng. Ibrahim Mostafa, Operations Training Manager at RATP Dev Mobility, discussed the vital role of industrial engineers in the service and railway sectors, highlighting the vast career opportunities available in these fields.
**Ahmed Aref, a fourth-year student, shared valuable insights and practical advice with his peers on making the most of their undergraduate experience.
**Dr. Mansour Abougamila, the conference coordinator, emphasized the department’s activities and achievements during the past year. He highlighted the department’s focus on practical projects in various courses, graduation projects, and field training. He also noted the strong relationship between the department and its alumni, which has led to exceptional training opportunities. Dr. Mansour pointed out that this year's conference was particularly special as it coincided with the department receiving program accreditation from the Quality Assurance and Accreditation Authority under the Ministry of Higher Education. He extended his sincere thanks to everyone who contributed to this achievement.
The conference featured enriching discussions that updated students and alumni on the latest developments in technology, industry, and service sectors, bridging the gap between academic study and the job market.
The event concluded with an honorary ceremony recognizing:
**Guest speakers for their valuable contributions.
**Companies supporting the department by providing exceptional training and employment opportunities for students.
**Teaching assistants who received promotions during the last academic year.
**The department's top-scoring students across all four levels were recognized for their academic excellence in academic year 2023/2024.
**The organizing committee of students for their outstanding efforts in ensuring the success of the event.
**Also, Omar Mohammed Gomaa, a preparatory-year student, who was recognized as the winner of the IE Department's Open Poster Design Competition, with a special gift from 2B Company.
A heartfelt thanks to everyone who contributed to the success of the conference. Wishing continued progress and prosperity to the Industrial Engineering Department and our beloved Faculty of Engineering.
