በዋቸሞ ዩኒቨርሲቲ ሆስፒታል ሁለት ራስ ቅል ያለው ልጅ ተወለደ

ሀዋሳ፤ መጋቢት 12/2016(ኢዜአ)፦ በዋቸሞ ዩኒቨርሲቲ የንግስት እሌኒ ኮምፕርሄንሲቭ ስፔሻላይዝድ ሆስፒታል አንዲት እናት ሁለት ራስ ቅል ያለው ልጅ በሰላም ተገላግላለች።

በሆስፒታሉ የህጻናት ህክምና ክፍል ሃላፊ ዶክተር ባሳዝን ጣሰው እንደገለጹት፤ በሆስፒታሉ አንዲት እናት ሁለት ራስ ቅል ያለውን ህጻን ከሌሊቱ ስድስት ሰዓት ገደማ ተገላግላለች።

የአምስት ልጆች እናት የሆነችው ወላዷ ከአንገቱ በታች በኩል የተያያዘ ሁለት ራስ ያለው ሆኖ የተወለደው ሕፃን ስድስተኛ ልጇ መሆኑን ነው የገለጹት።

እናትም እንዲህ ዓይነት ክስተት መኖሩን ሳታውቅ ቆይታ ለህክምና ከመጣች በኋላ ያወቀች ሲሆን፤ በሆስፒታሉ ሃኪሞች እርዳታ በመለስተኛ ቀዶ ሕክምና መገላገሏን ተናግረዋል።

በትክክለኛ የእርግዝና ወራት ቆይታ የተወለደው ባለ ሁለት ራስ ሕጻን አራት ነጥብ ሁለት ኪሎ ግራም እንደሚመዝንም ገልጸዋል።

የተወለደው ህጻን አሁን ላይ ጤንነት ችግር ባይኖረውም ወደፊት አፈጣጠሩ እክል ሊፈጥርበት እንደሚችል አመላካች ነገሮች መኖራቸውን ጠቁመዋል።

ነገር ግን ተጨማሪ ምርመራዎች በማስፈለጋቸው የሐኪሞች ቡድን ምርመራና ክትትል በማድረግ ላይ እንደሚገኝም ገልፀዋል።

ክስተቱ በሆስፒታሉ ታሪክ የመጀመሪያ መሆኑን ጠቅሰው፤ መረጃዎች እንደሚያመለክቱት ከሚወለዱ ከአንድ መቶ ሺህ ህፃናት መካከል አንድ መሰል ክስተት ሊገጥም ይችላል ብለዋል።

በቀጣይ ሕጻኑ በሚደረግለት ሕክምና ሊለያይ ይችላሉ ይሆን? በሚል ቀረበላቸው ጥያቄ ሁለቱ ራስ አብዛኛውን የሰውነት ክፍል የተጋራ በመሆኑ ሕክምናውን አስቸጋሪ ያደርገዋል ሲሉም ዶክተር ባሳዝን ገልጸዋል።

Congratulations to all

On behalf of school of medicine,let me start by offering my congratulations on successful completion of your study.

Successfully completing your study is always a significant achievement that reflects your dedication and hard work. However,given the challenges the Covid pandemic has thrown into during the previous academic years your achievement is doubly significant.

Our School is one of the three schools under wachemo university collage of medicine and health science. It has commenced its function in 2012 with the intent of producing qualified medical professionals in the field of medicine and DDM in undergraduate and postgraduate programs. Currently it has over 500 academic staffs and over 800 medical students including the first batch of 26 DDM students who joined our school in 2014.

Today we are going to graduate 59 medical Doctors who will be the 5th batch of medical doctors for our school. Sofar we are receiving compliments about the good performance of our graduates in the health care service at different corner of the country which has also been proven by 100% pass rate in this years national Exit Exam .

In 2014 we have started speciality program in general surgery and obstetrics and gynecology by accepting 4 residents at respective departments. By expanding the programs we started new residency program in pediatrics and child health,Internal medicine and orthopedics in 2015. We are also planning to start residency program in Radiology,Emergency and critical care and Pathology in 2017 for which need assessment is being done by school.

In this academic year our school had significant achievements. Some of which are we got Sponsor note in world medical schools directory which has Paramount importance for our graduates to compete and join institutions internationally in their future carrier. We have established free access to Uptodate and Amboss to our students and faculty.
