MACI - Master Arbitrage et Commerce International

Le Master Arbitrage et Commerce International (MACI) de l'Université de Paris - Saclay (Faculté de droit de l'Université de Versailles) a pour ambition de former les meilleurs techniciens de l'Arbitrage International.

À l'issue de cette formation, les étudiants acquièrent la maîtrise de l'ensemble des procédures de ce mode alternatif de règlement des litiges, tant en matière d'arbitrage commerci

al que d'arbitrage d'investissement et d'arbitrage sportif. L'arbitrage étant devenu le mode quasi-exclusif de règlement des différends du commerce international, il est nécessaire d'en comprendre sa philosophie, de saisir ses concepts et de pouvoir les mettre en œuvre. Une maîtrise complète du droit de l'arbitrage s'accompagne évidemment de connaissances parfaites en droit international privé et du commerce international. C'est la raison pour laquelle le Master est conçu dans l'optique d'une parfaite symbiose entre d'une part, l'arbitrage international qui constitue un premier module dirigé par le Professeur Thomas CLAY et, d'autre part, le droit du commerce international, objet d'un second module dirigé par le Professeur Sandrine CLAVEL. Pour parvenir aux meilleurs résultats et cultiver l'excellence, le Master, parrainé par d'éminents spécialistes de l'arbitrage et du commerce international (Geoge BERMANN, Bernard HANOTIAU, Gabrielle KAUFMANN-KOHLER, Vincent LAMANDA, Edoardo RICCI, Johnny VEEDER et Arnoldo WALD), bénéficie de partenariats directement liés à l'arbitrage et à la médiation. The Masters of Arbitration and International Business Law (MACI) of the University of Paris - Saclay (Faculty of law of the University of Versailles) has the ambition to train the best technicians of International Arbitration. At the end of the program, the students will have mastered all the arbitration procedures including commercial arbitration, investment arbitration and sports arbitration. Because arbitration has become the dominant mode of settling disputes in international trade, it is necessary to understand its philosophy as well as its concepts and to be able to implement them. Furthermore, a perfect mastery of the law of arbitration is necessarily accompanied by an excellent knowledge of private international law and international trade law. For this reason, the Masters has been conceived in the perspective of a perfect symbiosis between international arbitration, which is the first module led by Professor Thomas CLAY and the law of international trade which constitutes a second module led by Professor Sandrine CLAVEL.
