This workshop aims to enrich the recruited ESRs background in innovative muscle stem cells research and muscle diseases.
A group of internationally recognized scientists working on muscle stem cells and interactions with their niche in homeostatic, regenerative and pathologic muscle will present their work in a two-days’ workshop, which will also include poster presentation by junior researchers and discussion panels.

Inizia oggi la XX Conferenza Internazionale di Parent Project
a Roma, presso l’Ergife Palace Hotel.

Ritorna finalmente in presenza questo appuntamento che vedrà riunirsi dal vivo una larga parte della comunità DMD e BMD internazionale: pazienti, familiari, volontari, associazioni, clinici, ricercatori e aziende farmaceutiche.

Il programma si presenta sempre più ricco e articolato. Nell’ambito delle sessioni scientifiche verranno illustrati i più recenti aggiornamenti sulla ricerca e sugli studi clinici. A questi si affiancheranno numerose sessioni parallele su tematiche legate alla vita quotidiana (dai diritti all’affettività e alla sessualità, al ruolo dei fratelli e sorelle dei pazienti e altro ancora) e tavole rotonde dedicate agli aspetti psicosociali, con testimonianze dirette della comunità di pazienti e famiglie.

La Conferenza verrà realizzata anche grazie al supporto di numerosi sponsor, tra i quali si ringraziano, in particolare, Italfarmaco, PTC Therapeutics, Dyne Therapeutics e Sarepta Therapeutics.

On the occasion of the Parent Project International Annual Conference on DMD, Renoir ESRs have produced a video to introduce the different scientific sessions of the meeting, that range from new insights into the role of inflammation in DMD to gene therapy approaches.

The 20th edition of the International Conference on Duchenne and Becker Muscular Dystrophy, organized by Parent Project aps, will take place in Rome, at the Ergife Palace Hotel, from February 17
to February 19, 2023.
