Baytna à Vous Baytna à Vous is a student led initiative at AUP focused on providing Syrian refugees with the help and support they need in settling into France.

Baytna a Vous, translated as Our Home for You, is a student led initiative at the American University of Paris, with a focus on the Syrian Refugee Crisis in France. As Syria is half way through its 4th year in devastation, over 3 million refugees have fled the country to seek safer grounds for themselves. While most refugees are in neighboring countries, Lebanon, Turkey and Jordan,hundreds of thou

sands are risking their lives and financial savings to make it across waters to European soils in hopes of finding a safe and healthy environment for their children. With almost 7000 Syrian refugees currently in France, the French leaders have accepted to host another 24,000 Syrian refugees in the next two years. The purpose of our club is to provide the help and support that these newcomers’ need in settling into their new home. As students of AUP, it is also important that we play our part in raising awareness on the refugee crisis in Europe. This dissemination will take place in the form of information sessions and panel discussion with experts.
