On Thursday morning, we had the pleasure of welcoming Mohammed Baraka, Policy Advisor for the MENA and Africa Division at the OECD, over coffee and croissants ☕🥐

We enjoyed a highly engaging and interactive discussion on his career journey, the future of Iraq, and the opportunities and challenges of his work at the OECD 🌍💬

🇫🇷🇪🇺 SPNU had the privilege of welcoming Jessica Larsson, Acting Head of the European Commission’s Representation in France, to Sciences Po! We explored how national representations bridge the gap between Brussels and local stakeholders — from ministers and journalists to everyday citizens — building dialogue and trust from the ground up. Jessica Larsson also shared valuable insights on life inside the Commission and tips for students eager to pursue a career in EU institutions. The conversation ended on an inspiring note, reflecting on enlargement and the EU’s enduring appeal in today’s turbulent world.
