[ ] N°20 : Yujiao Zhou, JSPS researcher
👉 Yujiao ZHOU defended his thesis in 2023 at Laboratoire des Multimatériaux et Interfaces, under the supervision of Laurence Bois, Catherine Journet, David PHILIPPON and Sylvie Descartes.
📌 Thesis topic: Development of photoluminescent nanosenor via the sol-gel route: application to pressure/temperature measurement in tribological contacts.
🎯 Currently, she’s working as Project Research Associate at Université de Tokyo.
Her research focuses on heat transfer at the nanoscale in silicon-based materials, spanning fundamental studies of phonon transport and practical applications in microscale cooling systems and thermoelectric energy harvesting. Building on her interdisciplinary background in photonics, nanomaterials, and thermal sciences, she is interested in investigating the coupling between optical and thermal phenomena in the science of light and matter.
Labex Manutech-Sise would like to thank her for her involvement 👏 in the EMPHOMETRI project and wishes her all the best in her future career!
