Le centre Euraxess de l'Université de Strasbourg accompagne les doctorants et chercheurs étrangers

Votre centre Euraxess vous invite à une visite guidée à pied de deux heures dans le quartier des institutions européennes à Strasbourg !
La visite aura lieu le 6 mai de 17 h à 19 h et se déroulera en anglais.
Cet événement, organisé par l'Office du tourisme, est gratuit pour les participants et a été financé par le centre Euraxess.
Si vous vous inscrivez, nous vous demandons de bien vouloir arriver à l'heure et d'être présent !
Veuillez noter que nous vous demanderons votre numéro de téléphone afin de pouvoir vous contacter quelques jours avant la visite pour confirmer votre présence.
Cette visite est l'occasion de découvrir l'histoire européenne de Strasbourg.
Votre guide vous fera découvrir les différents bâtiments des institutions européennes et vous expliquera les rôles et les missions de chacun d'entre eux.
La visite mettra également en avant l'architecture contemporaine de Strasbourg, comme celle du Parlement européen
et de la Cour européenne des droits de l'homme.
Veuillez noter que cette visite ne couvre que l'extérieur des bâtiments du quartier européen ! Il n'y aura pas de visite du Parlement

You don't need to be fluent in French, as the goal is to meet new people while practicing your French, so if you feel like it, just go for it!

Your Euraxess centre invites you to a two-hour walking guided tour of Strasbourg's Old Town! The tour will be conducted in English.

This event organized by the Tourism Office, is free of charge for participants and has been financed by the Euraxess center. If you register, we kindly ask that you arrive on time and be present ! Please note that we will ask for your telephone number so that we can contact you two days before the tour to confirm your attendance.

Old town walking tour

You’ll discover the historic district of Strasbourg as you follow your guide through the old pedestrian areas, from the cathedral to Petite France. On this tour, you’ll see Maison Kammerzell, Place Gutenberg, St Thomas’ Church, the old tanners’ houses, the Covered Bridges (Ponts Couverts) and the Vauban Dam (Barrage Vauban), the former customs house (Ancienne Douane), the old slaughterhouse (Ancienne Boucherie), Place du Château with the Œuvre Notre-Dame Museum and Palais Rohan.

Your Euraxess centre is pleased to invite you to a Games evening!

The event will take place at the MUI on Wednesday 28 January from 5.30 pm to 7 pm.

We would like to start the evening with a variety of board games to play together while enjoying the legendary king cake and drinks!

Your EURAXESS center is pleased to invite you to his final event of the year on Wednesday 17 December.

This event will take place at the Maison Universitaire Internationale.
First, from 5:30PM to 6:30PM, you are invited to take part in a DIY activity where we you will make your own Christmas cards!
Afterwards, we will gather together for a an Alsatian apéritif with drinks
Even if you can't join us for the DIY activity, you are still welcome to come along for our apéritif from 6:15 P.M. onwards!

We would be happy to share a moment before the holidays to celebrate the end of the year together.

Ladies and gentlemen,

The University of Strasbourg is honoured to invite you to a welcome event for the international PhD students and researchers, organised by the Euraxess services Centre on Thursday, the 11th of December, beginning at 5:00 pm.

The evening will be introduced with a welcome speech by Prof. Frédérique Berrod, President of the University of Strasbourg, and Prof. Rémi Barillon, Vice-President for Research, Doctoral training and Open science.

These speeches will be followed by a friendly meeting with drinks.

Following the success of our first French café in October, your Euraxess center invites you once again to meet up for a French café at Café Berlin on Tuesday, November 25, from 6pm to 7.30 pm.
It's the perfect opportunity to celebrate the arrival of the Christmas season!
You don't need to be fluent in French, as the goal is to meet new people while practising your French, so if you feel like it, just go for it!

This month, we would like to talk about local cuisine and, for beginners, give some tips on how to order in a restaurant.
If you wish, feel free to introduce us to the cuisine of your country!

Your Euraxess center invites you to a casual evening event where new and former residents will share tips and tricks about living in Strasbourg.🥨

Enjoy a drink and some appetizers at the end of the speeches, and meet other international Ph.D. students and researchers who are new to the city.

The discussions will be in English, and the topics will include cultural life, leisure activities, sports, discount cards, and tourism in Strasbourg and neighboring cities, including those in Germany.
