In three years, academic partners of T-Crepe from four higher education institutions have presented their research related to co-creation, game-based learning, and constructionism at several conferences, and their journal papers have been published about these topics.

Through this video, UGent researchers would like to give a brief overview of selected work with the most important outcomes and lessons learned, hoping to inspire colleagues for critical discussions, and welcome new research collaborations. At the end of this video, they would like to open the discussion by posing a few questions to think about and sharing ideas for future work.

Last week, we had our final training workshop in France and now the T-Crepe project is coming closer to an end.

We are so glad to have the opportunity to come together once again and learn from each other.

The 4th Training Workshop of the T-CREPE Erasmus+ project on the subject of “Co-creating the future in education & the textile industry”, will be held on 15 and 16 March 2023 in a hybrid format (online and in Lille, France). There will be 13 talks from academics and industry partners from around the world; 5 round-table discussions; 2 interactive sessions (where you can co-design 'half-baked' games on 'Coaching' (to discover your mentoring style) and on 'Valorisation' (to understand generation 'z' for the future of textiles/fashion); and 2 reflection sessions. Participation is free but registration is required. Please use the QR code on the poster. We are looking forward to seeing you there!

Our partners from Finland, Italy, Belgium and more have come together in Lille, France.

In the scope of the T-Crepe project’s mobility exchange program, Joanna, Metaxia, and Kostas, who are Master’s students from National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA) attended the “Reading Club” during their visit at Ghent University. In October 2022, the design.nexus (design education pillar) team, who are also T-Crepe members, organised an open discussion session on the subject of ‘Coaching’. This was the first “Reading Club” activity of the design.nexus team and was. Inspired by 3 state-of-the-art research of colleagues around the world. Participants discussed types and emerging models of feedback in different fields. They shared views on:

1. What type is the feedback you offer mostly during the Concept development phase in a (design) process: Divergent or Convergent?
2. What do you think of the 'Correcting-Errors' type of feedback?'
3. What are the ‘right’ constraints to set for your students, or to be given as a student?

Participants to the session also included a representative of the Budascoop (city of Kortrijk) performance arts sector (with an active feedback culture for work-in-progress performances). We engaged with hands-on activities, and shared practices of feedback, tutoring and critiquing from education and the dance scene. The multidisciplinary stance of the session gave voice to the culturally and sectorially different practices of coaching, yet, with overlapping concerns and limitations, as well as, creative methods and opportunities in the instructor-student exchange moment.
