Are you a Master’s or PhD student enrolled in a French or Dutch higher education institution with a passion for food systems, sustainable agriculture, public policy, or innovation?

Apply now for the 2025 Young Talents Programme, linked to the annual Franco-Dutch Erasmus-Descartes Conference that will take place in Rotterdam on 27 November 2025 📍.

– Join a Franco-Dutch interdisciplinary team of young researchers
– Collaborate on key challenges related to food sovereignty and food security
– Benefit from expert coaching and pitch training
– Present your ideas to a high-level audience during the Erasmus-Descartes Conference
– Expand your network of researchers, policymakers, and innovators

👥 𝐄𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲:
Open to Master’s (MSc/MA), PDEng and PhD students (aged 20–35), from all relevant disciplines (e.g. agronomy, food systems, sustainability, public policy, data science, health, innovation…).
International students enrolled in French or Dutch institutions are welcome. Working language: 𝐄𝐧𝐠𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐡.

[YOUNG TALENTS 2023]

Yesterday, 13 November, our 12 Young Talents met for the first time in real at at the Alliance Française Rotterdam. After a Quantum Game session organised by Evert van Nieuwenburg, they continued to work intensivly on their challenges related to Quantum Technology.

Since the 17th of October they are working in teams on and and under the guidance of Frederik Kerling, Julien Laurat and Eleni Diamanti.

We are looking forward to see the result of their hard work during the Conference where they will pitch their ideas and solutions to the high-level audience of the on November 16.

[YOUNG TALENTS 2023 - Kick-off meeting]

✅The Young Talents programme officially started last Tuesday, 17 October. Réseau Franco-Néerlandais, Institut français NL, Ambassade des Pays-Bas en France and Nuffic welcomed the twelve Young Talents from France and the Netherlands during an online event.

💭 Divided into two teams, these promising students will be working over the coming weeks on problems related to Green Quantum and the Quantum Internet. They will present their results at the on 16 November in Delft.

💡 Throughout their working process, our participants will be guided by Frederik Kerling, Eleni Diamanti and Julien Laurat.
