Good news for UK students ...

BCVA membership is free for all UK vet students who sign up this year - that's your entire 2026-27 membership sorted, for absolutely nothing.

There's also a bit of a bonus. Everyone who joins between 1 September and 31 October goes into a prize draw for a pair of Rainscope Tall Boots (men's in black, or women's in pink, green, blue, black or cream, depending on who wins).

One thing we'll need from you: please let us have both your university email and a personal "home" address. That way we don't lose touch once you graduate and your uni account disappears.

BVSci Y1 students- Come and visit the British Veterinary Association - BVA stand at our Aberdeen Freshers Fayre tomorrow (September 2nd) to sign up for free BVA student membership and collect your pentorch.

We also have a talk at 1pm in Lecture Theatre TR10 from Vivienne Mackinnon, BVA Scotland president who also works here at the vet school.

The Veterinary Nursing team would like to extend our heartfelt congratulations to all of our students who have successfully achieved their Veterinary Nursing Degree and can now officially call themselves Registered Veterinary Nurses (RVNs)!

We are holding an online information session for anyone considering applying to the BVSci Veterinary Science programme for 2027 entry on Monday September 14th at 6pm. The UCAS deadline for Veterinary Medicine is Thursday October 15th at 6pm and this session will cover the UCAS portion of application as well as the supplemental documents sent directly to SRUC.
