Have you tried…

…going outside, now that it’s not dreich or blowing a hoolie? Sunshine and calm weather feels like a balm and there are SO MANY OPTIONS, but there is one hidden gem right on your doorstep.

The Brig O’Balgownie is a stunning 13th Century Bridge just behind (to the North) Hillhead Student Village. A study break that will make you feel like you’ve gone back in time for the bargain price of no money and less than 30 minutes. A perfect mental health walk!

Legend suggests the bridge was started by Bishop Henry Cheney and finished by Robert the Bruce, and whether that is true or not, it is definitely an incredible ancient monument situated over the deep pool known as the Black Neuk. Take yourself outside and see this stunning local gem.
