Aberdeen University Linguistics Society AULS - est. 2013 to support and represent linguistics students at the University of Aberdeen. AULS is the society for the best linguistics department in the UK!

Since 2013, we have gathered all kinds of language lovers, from the phonetics fans to the semantically confused to the pragmaticists. Everyone is welcome - except prescriptivists - even if you just love a well-spun pun. We are here to support and represent linguistics students, as well as to promote discussion on language-related topics across all disciplines. We hold a wide range of linguistics-t

hemed events including guest lectures, student talks, games, quizzes and socials. We also host regular study sessions, where students gather to help each other out or to just whine about the newest assignment in solidarity.
