International Conference on Integrated Care - ICIC 2026!đź’ś

The International Conference on Integrated Care, hosted by the International Foundation for Integrated Care (IFIC) was hosted from 13-15 April 2026.

This event brings together researchers, practitioners, clinicians, managers and people with lived experience from around the world to explore integrated health and social care.

Our Managing Director, Lou Henderson attended the event which went very well and was a huge success! Both Lou and Bon Accord Care received excellent feedback from delegates on the fantastic work that BAC staff have delivered for the citizens of Aberdeen.

Huge well done to all across BAC who have helped to deliver the 2023-26 strategy. You have all now been internationally recognised for enablement, person-centred relationship-based care we deliver for people we support across all of our services. Well done! đź‘Ź

The DYW team at Bon Accord Care were proud to be named finalists at the NSBA Awards on 17 April, in the Inspiring Futures category.

While we didn’t win on the night, this recognition belongs firmly to the young people we work alongside every day. Their ambition, honesty, resilience and ideas are what shape this work and drive everything we do.

Being shortlisted is a powerful reminder that young people’s voices matter — and when they are supported, listened to and believed in, inspiring futures really do become possible.

Thank you to our young people for their hard work, dedication and for inspiring us, every single day.

Congratulations to all the amazing winners and finalists at the Northern Star Business Awards and a huge congratulations to Aberdeen Performing Arts for taking home the Inspiring Futures Award. The work you are doing with young people in Aberdeen is inspirational.

A big thank you to Aberdeen & Grampian Chamber of Commerce for shortlisting our BAC - Developing Young Workforce alongside so many amazing businesses and organisations. Thank you also to P&J Live for hosting a fantastic night that celebrated the inspiring work going on in Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire.

And lastly a huge well done to our Developing Young Workforce team and our young people - your energy, ideas, and the difference you make every day to the people we support is incredible. Keep up the great work, you are all amazing! 👏🏻
